WESTELL.COM General Description Westell’s Twin Variable Gain Dual Band AWS/PCS Tower Mounted Amplifier (TMA) is an ideal solution for optimizing LTE cell site performance by improving base station receiver sensitivity. With the TTMAV-AWSPCS, operators will see fewer context drops, expanded coverage area (critical for VoLTE), and increased uplink data throughput; all in a compact, highly-reliable, and cost-effective package that supports one full sector. The TTMAV-AWSPCS provides full band operation for both the AWS and PCS bands, and with its diplexed BTS port, it’s ideal for sites where feeder cables are shared. To support all types of deployment environments, the gain for each frequency band on the TTMAV-AWSPCS can be independently adjusted from 3 dB to 13 dB in 1 dB increments using AISG 2.0. AISG connectors allow operators to control RET antennas via a daisy-chain cable from the TMA to the antenna, thus improving reliability and reducing cabling costs. General DescriptionWestell’s Twin Variable Gain Dual Band AWS/PCS Tower Mounted

Amplifier (TMA) is an ideal solution for optimizing LTE cell site

performance by improving base station receiver sensitivity. With

the TTMAV-AWSPCS, operators will see fewer context drops,

expanded coverage area (critical for VoLTE), and increased uplink data

throughput; all in a compact, highly-reliable, and cost-effective package

that supports one full sector. The TTMAV-AWSPCS provides full band

operation for both the AWS and PCS bands, and with its diplexed BTS

port, it’s ideal for sites where feeder cables are shared.

To support all types of deployment environments, the gain for each

frequency band on the TTMAV-AWSPCS can be independently

adjusted from 3 dB to 13 dB in 1 dB increments using AISG 2.0. AISG

connectors allow operators to control RET antennas via a daisy-chain

cable from the TMA to the antenna, thus improving reliability and

reducing cabling costs.
