(TTI) is pleased to provide Monroe Township Public Schools with this summary of the recent Indoor Air Quality Inspection. TTI was contracted to conduct an inspection of 10 rooms/area within the Holy Glen Elementary School. The inspection was conducted on October 2, 2017 using high lumen flashlight, moisture meter, thermal camera, and temperature/humidity meter. The classroom/areas inspected included: 5, 10, 17, 19, 21, Commons Area, Reading Office 54, 32, 37 and Library. TTI also produced and provided a list of questions to the staff to gather information on their room/area which was completed by the staff and provided during the investigation. TTI conducted a comprehensive visual inspection of the rooms/areas listed above and collected one air sample in each room for laboratory analysis. In addition, TTI collected five swab samples from various building components. The samples collected were submitted to a certified laboratory for 24hour analysis. A copy of the laboratory analytical results is attached and a summary of the visual findings from each room is below. Select photographs are also attached. The air samples collected revealed variable levels as compared to the exterior samples. Rooms 19, 37, Common Area and the Library all exceeded the outside samples. The dominate mold species of concern detected inside included: Aspergillus/Penicillium, Cladosporium and Myxomycetes. The swab samples collected all revealed elevated levels which included Aspergillus and Cladosporium. Based on  the  information provided, visual  inspection and analytical  results TTI  concludes  that  these rooms/areas are  impacted by mold/fungal proliferation. TTI recommends that further  investigation  is warranted  to  include  the  remainder of  the  school building. Corrective action/remediation  should be conducted to return the spaces back to a normal condition. The remediation should follow Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) Standard and Reference Guide for Professional Mold Remediation S520.   Based  on  the  information  provided  and  the  results  of  our  visual  investigation  and  sampling,  TTI recommends that the school be closed until cleaning and additional evaluation be conducted to insure the safety of the children and staff.  We appreciate the opportunity in allowing TTI to provide you with professional environmental consulting services. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at any time.   Respectfully submitted,

High levels of background particulate can obscure spores and other particulates leading to underestimation. Background levels of 5 indicate an overloading of background particulates, prohibiting accurate detection and

quantification. Present = Spores detected on overloaded samples. Results are not blank corrected unless otherwise noted. The detection limit is equal to one fungal spore, structure, pollen, fiber particle or insect fragment. "*"

Denotes particles found at 300X. "-" Denotes not detected. Due to method stopping rules, raw counts in excess of 100 are extrapolated based on the percentage analyzed. EMSL maintains liability limited to cost of analysis. This
