1 Press ReleaseJuly,31,2013 TTF Led Nine Taiwanese Brands Setting Trend in Shenzhen, Attracting Numerous International Buyers Taiwan Textile Federation (TTF), under the support of the Bureau of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Economic Affairs, led a contingent of Taiwanese fashion industry, including CONTINUED, WOW, OUTERSPACE, Fever & Black Fever, Adore.I.G.I, ALL-PLUS, Myne Collection, ai and Sweet Villians, to participate in the “13th China International Fashion Brand Fair – Shenzhen” (abbreviated as FashionSZshow) in Shenzhen, China on July 11 – 13, 2013. Uninterruptedly packed with visitors, buyers and media, the trade fair attracted renowned distributors and professional fashion buyers from all over the world to visit Taiwan Pavilion and to discuss with Taiwanese exhibitors for the future business cooperation. Taiwanese trendy brands, designers and their brand names have successfully entered China fashion market and stationed in the department stores. Theming with “Taipei IN Style in Shenzhen,” TTF led and advanced nine Taiwanese fashion brands and companies at the FashionSZshow in Shenzhen, China this July. Five of the participating exhibitors are personal brands established by Taiwanese performing artists, namely CONTINUED (The Drifters-Darren), WOW (Fahrenheit-Calvin Chen), OUTERSPACE (CIRCUS-Leo Liao), Fever & Black Fever (Chien-Chou Chen) and Adore.I.G.I (Genie Chuo). For the first time, these five brands launched co-branded collections at the FashionSZshow. It fully demonstrated the innovative spirit and design capability of Taiwanese trendy brands. During this exhibition, they successfully secured over twenty distributors and agents, including odbo, Topport and Lifestyle International from Shenzhen, Jasonwood from Jiaxing and Ya Di from Kunming. Established by Taiwanese designer Cecilia Tuan and having successful sale record in New Zealand now, designer’s brand Myne Collection has successfully set foot in and stationed at US-based trendy store Urban Outfitters right after joining TTF’s overseas promotional contingent and exhibiting at the Blueprint Singapore 2013 this May. This July at the FashionSZshow, we heard good news from Myne Collection again! It will collaborate with China’s Dashang Group Co.,Ltd. to launch the brand in China early this August. This successful case fully demonstrates the sequential effectiveness in exhibiting at international fashion exhibitions. Known for its patchwork of diverse fabrics and applique embroidery, fashion women’s wear brand ai has been invited by many renowned department stores in China to station, including Grand Ocean Department Store, Xi'an-based Century Ginwa Shopping Center and Jilin-based Jin-Zuan Department Store. generated business leads with Dalian-based Jiuguang Department Store, Jessyun and Colorful Dream Garment Manufacturing Center. Good at playing with details in its design, handmade men’s shoe brand SWEET VILLIANS impressed attendees with its creativity and attracted representatives of China’s renowned Intime Department Store and Silver Stone Plaza to visit and discuss future business cooperation. At this year's FashionSZshow, the nine fashion brands and companies from Taiwan rivaled their counterparts from China, US, Britain, France, German, Italy, Japan and Korea with their latest collections of versatile, lively clothing and accessories, fully demonstrating the innovative spirit and design power of Taiwanese fashion industry. By participating in such an international fashion exhibition, TTF has successfully developed international markets and recognition for Taiwanese brands, in addition to spurring Taiwanese brand owners to communicate with international fashion professionals. TTF led Taiwanese brands setting a new milestone in China to create soaring demand for Taiwanese fashion products. As part of the joint promotional effort, TTF hosted a press conference at Taiwan Pavilion on the first day of the trade fair. Taiwanese brand owners and performing artists Genie Chuo, Calvin Chen and Leo Liao were present in person to support Taiwanese brands, attracting over 500 visitors and buyers as well as over 20 media, including China Fashion Magazine, www.china-ef.com, Southern Metropolis Daily, Shenzhen Economic Daily, Shenzhen Evening News, China Textile News, ifeng.com, gd.qq.com, fashion.163.com, Lifestyle and OnlyLady. During the 3-day exhibition, near 1,000 professional fashion buyers have crowded into Taiwan Pavilion to place orders or make inquiries, including Silver Stone Plaza, Jiuguang Department Store, Wanda Department Store, Grand Ocean Department Store, Shinsegae Department Store and Century Ginwa Shopping Center. Subsequent orders are expected to top 700,000 US dollars. It is evident that Taiwanese brands are favored by department stores, dealers and agents all over the world and the demand for MIT fashion products are soaring!
