    CHNG I: TNG QUAN V H THNG GSM

    1.1. Tng quan v mng GSM

    1.1.1. Cu trc tng th mng GSM

    Cc knh ca giao din v tuyn bao gm cc knh vt l v cc knh logic.

    1.2.1. Knh vt l

    Knh vt l t chc theo quan nim truyn dn. i vi TDMA GSM, knh vt l l

    1.3. Gii thiu cc KPI v tuyn chnh

    KPI (Key Performance Indicator Cc ch s c tnh chnh) l cc tham s v c

    tnh ca mng. Ngi lm cng tc ti u phi quan tm n nhng tham s ny phn

    tch trng thi ca mng. T , nhn din li v a ra gii php ci thin. Nhng tham s

    KPI chnh c gii thiu sau y:

    1.3.1. T l rt cuc gi (Call Drop Rate - CDR)

    T l rt cuc gi l t l cc cuc gi b rt (do h thng BSS, v tuyn hay do

    chuyn giao) trn tng s cuc gi kt thc thnh cng.

    CSSR)

    1.3.3. T l nghn knh SDCCH (SDCCH Congestion Rate)

    T l nghn knh SDCCH c nh ngha l t s gia tng s ln chim knh

    SDCCH khng thnh cng do nghn SDCCH v tng s ln yu cu cung cp knh

    SDCCH.

    T l nghn SDCCH khuyn ngh nh hn 5%.

    1.3.4. T l rt knh SDCCH (SDCCH Drop Rate)

    1.3.6. T l nghn knh lu lng TCH (TCH congestion rate)

    T l nghn knh lu TCH c nh ngha nh t l chim knh khng thnh cng

    do nghn knh thoi (khng c knh TCH ri) trn tng s ln h thng yu cu cung cp

    knh thoi.

    KPI ny dng qun l t l phn trm mng b nghn, thng thng t l nghn knh

    lu lng TCH cho php 2%. Nghn TCH nh hng n cm nhn khch hng l thit lp

    cuc gi b thit bi.

    1.3.7. T l cuc gi thnh cng (Call Success Rate)

    T l cuc gi thnh cng c nh ngha l t l cc cuc gi c thc hin cho

    n khi gii phng m khng b ngt do rt knh SDCCH, hay do n nh tht bi hay cuc

    gi b rt.

    T l cuc gi thnh cng khuyn ngh >92%. Tuy nhin trong khu vc mt trm

    cao, t l cuc gi thnh cng nn ln hn 97%.

    1.3.8. T l chuyn giao ra thnh cng (Outgoing Handover Success Rate -

    OHSR)

    T l chuyn giao ra thnh cng c nh ngha nh l t l gia s ln handover ra

    thnh cng v tng s ln c yu cu handover. KPI ny th hin t l chuyn giao

    SDCCH v TCH ra ngoi thnh cng t mt cell n cc cell ln cn ca n (cng BSS

    hoc khc BSS).

    Da vo KPI ny nh gi vic nh ngha neighbour cell l hay cha, v cn

    c th nh gi cht lng ca cc cell ln cn n. Nu t l chuyn giao ra ngoi thnh

    -IHSR)

    T l chuyn giao vo thnh cng c nh ngha nh l t l gia s ln handover ra

    2.2.1. Tn hao ng truyn sng v tuyn

    H thng GSM c thit k vi mc ch l mt mng t ong dy c v bao trm

    mt vng ph sng rng ln. Cc nh thit k v khai thc mng mong mun t c mt

    vng ph sng lin tc bao gm tt c cc vng dn c ca t nc. Vng ph sng c

    chia thnh cc nh gi l Cell. Mi Cell c ph bi mt trm thu pht v tuyn BTS.

    Kch thc cc i ca mt Cell thng thng c th t ti bn knh R=35 Km. V vy suy

    hao ng truyn l khng th trnh khi.

    2.2.2. M hnh khng gian t do

    A. Hin tng Overshoot

    - nh ngha: y l hin tng vng ph ca cell overshoot phc v xa hn mt hoc

    nhiu hn mt lp trm, mc thu tt.

    V d khi khong cch 2 trm thu pht sng gn nhau, gi s l 2 trm A v B.

    Cell ca trm A (do k thut lp sai gc ngng ca cell) v tnh pht sng vo

    ng Cell ca trm B. Hin tng gi l overshoot.

    - Nguyn nhn:

    VSWR, li phn cng gy suy gim cng sut pht.

    B. Vn chuyn giao (Handover) khng thnh cng

    - nh ngha:Khi n lc chuyn giao khng thnh cng th s xy ra hai trng hp,

    hoc MS b mt lin lc (cuc gi b rt) hoc cuc gi c chuyn li cell c trn knh c.

    iu ny c ngha l chuyn giao khng thnh cng c th dn n rt cuc gi nhng

    - Nguyn nhn:

    a. Nghn: Nu nghn cao cell ln cn, cuc gi c th b ko di cell ang phc

    b. Timer ht hn sau khi MS mt lin lc: MS khng bao gi tr li trm BTS.

    e.Anten u sai feeder:

    ngi dng n gin ch gi li cuc gi ln na v hy vng thnh cng vi ln ny.

    Theo quan im ca h thng, rt cuc gi trn knh SDCCH th nguy him hn,

    mt radio link time-out trn SDCCH s chim mt knh SDCCH ph khong

    (RLINKUP+RLINKT)/2 giy v tng nguy c nghn SDCCH.

    CHNG III: TI U HA MNG GSM TI VINAPHONE

    3.1. Quy trnh ti u mng

    Ti u mng GSM l mt quy trnh khp kn khng c im kt thc. Tm thi c

    th chia thnh cc bc chnh: Gim st Phn tch d liu Nhn din li/ Thc thi cc

    thay i Kim tra Gim st

    3.2. Mt s cng c h tr cng tc ti u

    PM Tool (http://clm.vinaphone.vn/):y l h thng ly cc thng k KPI t h

    thng ca nh mng Vinaphone.

    TEMS Investigation

    Cng vi cc cng c khc, thit b o TEMS l cng c o kim tra nh gi thi

    gian thc cc thng s phn nh cht lng mng di ng qua giao din v tuyn. N cho

    php ta theo di c knh thoi hay knh d liu qua GPRS.

    Drive Testing l phng php ph bin v l cch tt nht phn tch h thng.

    Drive Testing s dng my TEMS v phng tin di chuyn (thng l t) thu thp cc

    kt qu vi ta o im o.

    3.3. Ti u ha mng Vinaphone ti Vnh Phc

    Quy trnh o:

    3.3.1. Phn tch kt qu o xc nh nguyn nhn nhiu v rt cuc gi

    km, nh hng nhiu) hoc do li phn cng, phn mm ti phn h trm gc BSS (li

    card BTS, thit b truyn dn).

    - T l rt cuc gi gim hn: n ngy 23/10 ch cn 2,81%, v gim tip trong

    nhng ngy tip theo.

    Kt lun: Vic tm ra nguyn nhn gy nhiu v rt cuc gi v tin hnh ti u tn

    T ta tin hnh iu chnh tilt hng 2 ca trm Vn Hi (cell name: 2G_Van-

    Hoi2_VPC) thu hp vng ph sng, hn ch vng ph ln khu vc Lng Tri.

    Sau khi thay i Tilt hng 2 t 2 -> 6 (ngy 22/10), ta tin hnh o kim li cht

    Theo thng k ta thy t ngy 22/10 lu lng ca trm Lang-Trai_VPC tng mt

    cch ng k (t 60 Erl ln n 130 Erl).

    T phn nh ca khch hng v cht lng trn khu vc Tch Sn Vnh Phc, em

    tin hnh kim tra thng k KPI t OMC v xut o kim nh gi cht lng

    mng khu vc ny.

    Theo s liu thng k (theo di t ngy 24/10), ch tiu cht lng ca cell ID

    2G_Tich-Son_VPC khng c m bo:

    - T l thit lp cuc gi thnh cng thp: trung bnh khong 96 %. Thp nht l

    ngy 25/10, ch t 95,34%.

    - T l rt cuc gi cao nht l ngy 26/10, t 1.19%.
