“In 1982, I received an alert in the middle of the night that the bubble was in trouble. My daughter Ellen and I hightailed it over to the club with our flashlights and little knowledge about what happened. When we arrived, we found that vandals had slashed the bubble and put a 3 foot gash in it. We called Dan our

maintenance man and he said he would come as soon as possible. While we waited we tried in vain to sew the slash together with no luck as we didn’t know to reduce the pressure. Luckily, Dan arrived in time to save the bubble. All ended well and we shared some good laughs over an early breakfast at the diner.”

“I was a member before I started working here. My kids had birthday parties, did Parisi, and volleyball clinics here. Club Fit collects for Toys for Tots and has food drives for local food pantries. Whenever there is a power outage,

as long as they are able, they open the doors and invite people in. Community is important to me and I am glad to work for a company that gives back. That is what I will always remember about Club Fit.”
