Members Matter. Member Match.You can still take advantage of the Trust’s Member Match program now through December 31. Any new or increased gift (minimum $25) will be matched dollar-for-dollar by The Richard King Mellon Foundation.

In addition to our ticketed presenting seasons, the Trust provides more than 400 free and low-cost programs including festivals, gallery crawls, jazz performances and arts workshops in the Trust Arts Education Center. These programs have a tremendous impact on improving the region’s quality of life and provide an arts experience that many people would not otherwise have.

To continue this great success, we need your help. Your membership gift to the Trust can help send a student to a School Day matinee series, or provide art supplies for a workshop activity, or provide exhibition space for our Gallery Crawls. Your gift also helps us exhibit renowned artists in our galleries, feature award-winning international works on stage and present HIGHMARK® FIRST NIGHT® PITTSBURGH and other prominent arts festivals.

artists. This four-month festival will feature a cross-section of new multidisciplinary works from

Holland: modern dance, music, theater, visual art, film and literature. Take a look inside and

activities taking shape in the Cultural District over the coming months including

Highmark First Night Pittsburgh, our New Year’s celebration of the arts and

the upcoming Distinctively Dutch Festival in February 2012. In addition, our presenting

seasons continue with exciting Broadway shows, dance, children’s theater and more.

HIGHMARK®FIRST NIGHT® PITTSBURGH PREPARATIONS UNDERWAYCelebrate the New Year in grand style with HIGHMARK FIRST NIGHT PITTSBURGH 2012, on December 31 from 6 pm to midnight! This family-friendly, alcohol-free event marks its seventeenth year as the region’s largest New Year’s celebration focused on the arts.First Night buttons allow attendees access to more than 150 programs in approximately 40 venues around the Cultural District with over 90 percent of the programs taking place indoors.

From November through Christmas, these workshops offer fun and creative learning opportunities for varying skill levels and ages.

CLUB DANCE WORKOUT with Jame ElisThis high-energy workout is designed for women of all ages and skill levels. High-heeled shoes are highly encouraged, although any dancing shoes will do. Boogie down to today’s most popular music and dance like a music video star! Men are also welcome to attend. Mondays at 6:00pm and Thursdays at 7:00pm throughout the holiday season.
