Product and purposeSHADOWcladisa12mmthickwallcladdingavailableinsheetsofcoverage1200mmwidthandlengthsof2440or2745mmandashiplapweathergroovejointonthelongedgeofeachsheet.Thesurfacehasaroughbandsawntextureandisavailablewithorwithoutverticalgroovesat150mmcentres.

SHADOWcladisavailableinaproprietarypreprimed,powdercoatedfinishforpaintingorinanunprimednaturalsurfaceforstaining.TheaestheticpropertiesofSHADOWcladmakeitsuitableforbothexteriorandinteriorapplications.

SHADOWcladistreatedtoH3withaclear,noncorrosiveLightOrganicSolventPreservative(LOSP).Thistreatmentprotectsthesurfaceagainstrotandinsectinfestation.Itcanalsobeusedforstructuralbracingwhenfixeddirectlytoframing†.SHADOWcladismanufacturedfromlegallyharvestedplantationgrownRadiatapine(FSC).

Unlikeliquidprimers,thepowdercoatingprocesspreparesthesurfacewithacontinuousfilmacrossalledges,overtheshiplapandenrobesthesurfacefibres.

PrimedSHADOWcladimprovestopcoatapplicationrates,savingyoutimeandmoney.Topcoatapplicationratesare14m2perlitre.

ForbestresultswhenpaintingonprimedSHADOWclad,usehighqualitypaintssuchasTaubmansEndureExteriorLowSheen(D181)orTaubmansEndureExteriorMatt(D180)withabrushorroller.Glossfinishesarenotrecommended.BoscoteCladcoatfilmformingcoatingsystemalsoprovidesoutstandingUVresistanceandprotectionagainstcrackingandpeeling.
