Weather Cancelation Policy reminder— In case of inclement weather, mid-week youth program cancellations will take place at the discretion of the leaders. If a worship service is to be cancelled,
announcements will be attempted by the prayer line, church email and by placing it on our website (prospercrc.org); how-ever, we cannot promise the word will get out in time. If the weather is threatening, please consult the local media for weather updates. If unsure, please contact your district elder.
The IT committee would like to remind you that we now have the INDUCTION LOOP SYSTEM for people with hearing aids—please try it and let Gary Gandolfi know how it works. Thank you!
Thank you to ALL who contributed candy
for our Trunk or Treat evening and to those who came dressed up and passed out the candy! We had about 150 children come through our doors. Please pray that the fli-ers and information given out by the Out-
reach Team, will be used to plant the seeds of the Spirit in the hearts of children who do not attend a church and that they will come and check out what Prosper CRC is all about!
Join us at Prosper CRC for our annual Harvest Sale! THIS Friday, Nov. 10 at 6:00pm. Dessert and refreshments will be provided. Lots of great items to bid on, the list keeps growing! See you there!
...and the winner for October is… ...Jane Koetje
Jane, let Pastor Dirk know what your favorite candy bar is.
WELL DONE, KIDS!! Keep putting the notes in the box in
Pastor Dirk’s office; each month we draw a note from the box.
You can either use the Adult sermon notes (especially some of
the older kids) or the Sermon Notes for Kids.
...is Gretchen Koster!!! Gretchen is a student at Hope College and this is what she has to say about her life right now: “As of right now, college is going very well. My classes and track practice are keeping me busy as it is. I am already student teaching in a resource room at an elementary school. This
opportunity has only reassured me that I want to become a special education teacher. Holland reminds me of Falmouth in many ways, which I am very grateful for. I am really enjoying the chapel sessions here at Hope College too. I do have to retake the SAT, be-cause my results were just below the requirements to be accepted in the education program. If you could pray for my upcoming test date that would be much appreciated. Thank you for all your support! — Gretchen Send Gretchen a note of encouragement ... email: [email protected] address: 141 12th Street PO Box 9022 Holland, MI 49422-9022
