historyOur history reaches back to the beginning of the 20th century, when the first confectionary factory was established in 1922. In 1930, with new owners the factory name was changed to FORTUNA and it started to produce chocolate products.

In 1946, Lithuania made a strategic plan to modernise its confectionary production. In 1952 the most modern factory at the time PERGALĖ was established. This period marks the beginning of the modern confectionary factory, which has grown steadily and gradually in both the local and international markets, whilst keeping alive its original values. For us, it’s all about chocolate and what lies behind it. It’s about the people, good health quality and dedication, and the interconnected relationships that bind us all.

ProDuCtsIn over 90 years of manufacturing confectionary, we have built up a wide range of products that have earned the highest recognition in top regional competitions. PERGALĖ offers various types and flavours of assorted chocolates, exclusive and premium chocolates boxes, chocolate bars, pralines, pomade or liqueur sweet chocolates, truffles, dragées and even more. Some of our authentic secret recipes haven’t changed and our products are made in the traditional way, just as they were made more than 50 years ago.

We spend a lot of time searching for the best added ingredients to find the ones that are just right – tasteful and aromatic, smooth and creamy, sweet and sour. We are proud that our chocolate tablets are non-GMO and include no vegetable fats. We never compromise on the quality and safety of our products and this remains a fundamental commitment to our clients. This means we can guarantee that every step, every ingredient, and everything that goes into each chocolate is of the best quality. Every aspect of our manufacturing process is controlled by us. Since packaging has a real impact on how we perceive taste, we also invest in our packaging to create designs that reflect our brand’s identity.

iNVEstMENtsOne of the key factors in our success is our investments in new technology to increase our quality and productivity. In 2012, we upgraded the greater part of the factory’s infrastructure, with measures such as installing a modern climate management and control system and a raw ingredients distribution pipeline system, which keeps our products fresher for longer and prevents them from coming into contact with the environment. We have implemented leading quality control and product protection systems (ISO9001, HACCP, IFS), and we will keep investing in the modernisation of our production and the development of new products and tastes every year.

Dark chocolate PERGALĖ has a subtle aroma, and is a high quality chocolate that easily melts-in-the-mouth. All of the ingredients have been carefully selected and

combined. In this chocolate there is no vegetable oil other than cacao butter. This is a chocolate for those who

know the taste of satisfaction. There is a total of no less than 50% dry cacao solids in this chocolate tablet.

Milk chocolate PERGALĖ is a tasty, gentle, exceptionally melt-in-the-mouth, high quality

chocolate. In it there is a total of not less than 30 % dry cacao solids, and not less than 20 % dry milk solids.
