Troy a du talent dans l’eau et du talent sur terre notamment quand on parle de shape ! Il est particulièrement reconnu pour ses fish inspirés par Skip Frye, ses mid lenght et longboards.

Troy’s talents in the water correlate with his talents on land especially when it comes to shaping, he might be known

best for his Skip Frye inspired fishes but he also excels at shaping midlengths

and logs.

FRYED FISH

This fish is a contemporary refinement of the «retro twin fin» with a roughly 6» deep swallow tail and beak nose. Starting from the nose, the flat bottom smooths into a single concave that begins about half way down the board and quickly transitions into a double concave that extends through the twin keels and out the swallow.The slightly domed deck holds a nice fullness as it tapers to a forgiving rail with a sharp trailing edge that begins about six inches above the fins. The distribution of foam is akin to the classic fish inspiration with the wide point forward and a larger proportion of foam devoted to the nose while the tail pulled in and streamlined.Typical dimensions:5’4’’ x 20’’ x 2’’ 3/8

TWINFIN

The Elmore Olsen Twin features old school rails (turned down from deck, same as The Lost Love), flat entry to a medium single to double concave finishing in spiral vee x panel vee off the tail. The outline is full with the wide point pushed forward and a slight side-cut outline.A wing and flute is placed just below the base of the twin fins to break up the outline and create a pivot point for the board. The Elmore Olsen Twin is fast and loose and a great, modern day substitute for a big, bulky and unrefined old school twin fin.

BONZER

Elmor version of Campbell Brothers’ Russ Short style. Speaking of Bonzer anyway, this bottom! It is! Bonza Bottom is a bottom shape that utilized Campbell Brothers in 1973, utilizing the fluid dynamics produced, lifts the board when going straight, releasing the water from the bottom to the side at the time of turn, making full use of its propulsive power It keeps the speed of turns.

EGGMAN

Why Eggman ? not just because it’s a great beginner board (which it is), but because Eggman model is just great boards. If you could only have one board to surf forever on, an egg would not be a bad choice.It work in small waves, medium waves and if you have the skills; larger and hollower surf. An Eggman will trim in longboard ankle slappers and still rip a big ‘ol bottom turn or cutback.If you haven’t been on an egg in awhile, it might be time to give it another try. Trust us, you will be pleasantly surprised.

PINTAIL

Single fin pintail of Troy ELMORE is made for everyday waves. Outline water drop, medium rocker and flat to tail, with bevels rails to nose to make them finer while keeping volume to the stringer. This board is made for a fast and curved surf in all conditions.Typical dimensions: from 5’8 to 7’0

SUBMARINE

This design has a very low rocker for effortless drive and trim. The bottom is complex, featuring convex and concave planning surfaces that transition together smoothly. He recommends riding this board with a flex fin 11 ½» up from the tail and stringerless to allow the board to load and spring.

SAMCLUB

The Troy Elmore version of the legendary magic board «Magic Sam» shaped by Charisma Nut Young of Australia for himself in 1966 .
