Some tours might be full, but there are always other possibilities. This makes it possible to book activities after you arrive in Tromsø.

The weather in Tromsø is unpredictable. It can change rapidly, from fine and warm to cold and rainy. If you go on a day trip or a longer hike, it is best to be prepared for this change in weather conditions to make sure you have a nice experience. Regardless of the season, clothing must be able to transport moisture away from your body. Consider the conditions and the level of activity on the trip, and dress accordingly, in layers: first a layer of underwear, then one or more intermediate layers and, finally, an outer layer. Multiple layers of clothing enable you to regulate warmth and protection by putting on or taking off garments.
