    WEATHER

Ireland has a relatively mild, moist climate which accounts for its abundance of plants and gardens. With no area of Ireland lying more than 70 miles from the coast, the ocean has a enormousinfluence on Ireland's climate. Extremes of temperature are rare, with an average variation of just20F between summer and winter. Our summer dates offer the best chance of good weather warm sunny skies with lots of soft fluffy clouds though it never gets truly hot. Light rain iscommon, even on good days, with usually a few wet downpours during the summer. Dublin tendsto enjoy the driest weather, and overall temperatures are likely to average 60-65F although a heatwave is always possible. Layered clothing is best to pack.

    ACTIVITY LEVEL

Moderate to high, with some walking on uneven surfaces at the historical sites, along garden pathsand the coastline.
