Trips and Visits 2019-2020
At Collingwood we take pride in knowing members of our staff are keen to organise a wide variety of extra-curricular activities throughout the year in order to enhance our students’ educational experience. These activities range from day trips, evening theatre trips, ski trips, football tours and foreign exchange visits. Inevitably there are costs involved but we do our best to keep these as low as possible. In an effort to assist our parents/carers with planning please find in this brochure a list of the proposed trips for the academic year 2019/2020. This brochure also includes trips for students taking Vocational and Business Education courses. Please bear in mind that, in addition to this list, other visits and trips may be arranged and in the case of VBE courses, some at shorter notice as and when opportunities for enhancing our students’ education arise. In line with our Charging Policy, the Governing Body will not allow any child to be prevented by financial hardship from taking part in an off-site activity, which is a compulsory element of a public examination syllabus. Parents who find themselves in this situation should contact the trip organiser who will discuss their particular concerns with them.

VOCATIONAL AND BUSINESS EDUCATION (VBE) TRIPS
Trips for students taking Vocational and Business Education courses. Please bear in mind that, in
