2016 Baptism Dates...

November 6th (Feast of All Saints)

Hall Rental Available Aldrich Hall is available for rental. With a busy season coming up with graduation and birthday parties, it's a great space to have your special event. For information, please call Michelle at 647-2322. Lower rates are available for parishioners.

Dunkin Donuts Lovers:

You can help erase our budget shortfall by getting a DD Perks card and donating the value of all the freebies you will get in the collection plate. The card is free, and you can easily auto fund it online to use instead of

cash when you buy food or drinks at any Dunkin. I use mine only once or twice weekly but have received many coupons online for free drinks of any size, as well as a free donut w/every receipt. Please consider this mutually beneficial practice! TY, Patty Kline

Nursery Volunteers Needed

We are seeking volunteers to help out in the Trinity nursery. The nursery is utilized by our youngest members, and is staffed by a licensed childcare provider Michele Pinault. However there must be two adults present at all times, per Safe Church Practices guidelines, so we ask for volunteers to fill that second spot on a rotating schedule. We are currently seeking at least 4 more people to add to the list. If you are interested, please contact Janet Heywood at [email protected]. Thanks so much!

Trinity Men's Group

Won’t you consider joining the men of our parish once per month for a light breakfast and interesting conversation is always available!

In times of change, it’s sometimes a challenge to find our balance—to maintain our wings.

Those are the times when we look to our community and the support of others who are facing the

same challenge to help us find our way. In the WINGS group, our time together strengthens us,

opens us to new perspectives and helps us to restore the balance we all need

to move forward on our new path.

Join us for a mini-retreat day of fellowship, inspiration, and celebration

as we explore ways to use spiritual tools which can be helpful

in maintaining our spiritual balance and envisioning our future together

as Women In Need of Growing Spiritually.

Please plan to join us for this mini-retreat day and Pot-luck Lunch celebrating the

20th Anniversary of WINGS. Save the date and look for the sign-up sheet soon!

PLEASE CONSIDERING HELPLING TO KEEP OUR CHURCH GARDENS LOOKING GREAT

We Hope You Have Been Enjoying The Gardens, As You Know They Are A Lot Of Work. We Could Use Some Help a Couple Of Hours A Week To Help With Watering And Weeding. With This Help, We Will All Continue

To Benefit From The Beauty Of The Gardens. If You Have Any Free Time, Please Contact The Office At 647-2322.

Fundraising News. . . .

FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE Our fundraising campaigns are varied but center around God, building relationships, and

raising money to meet the special and specific ongoing needs of our parish. Members include; Jill Shurtleff, Deirdre Marzano, John Morgan, Roger Cichy,

Rick Shurtleff, and Celia Petit, Chairperson. The Fundraising Committee would like to thank Debbie Luchka, of Woodbridge Greenhouses, for her generous check of $800.00 to the General Fund. This was from her 25% discount coupon for the month of May. Thank you Debbie for your generous heart! On July 12th a bazaar meeting was held and the chairs and table captains were established. Jill Shurtleff and Terry Yeaw will co-chair this year's event. Jill will oversee the downstairs and Terry the upstairs portion. Please join us in thanking Jill and Terry for offering to co-chair this year's bazaar. We would also like to thank each of the table captains for stepping up to oversee their area. Please keep in mind that each captain will need a team of people to help them. The hope is that you will agree to be part of a team. REMEMBER THIS IS OUR LARGEST FUNDRAISER OF THE YEAR AND WE NEED YOUR HELP TO MAKE IT THE BEST!

Dear Brothers and Sisters, On behalf of the Fundraising Committee, I would like to cordially invite our parish family and friends to the Summer Steak Fry on Friday, August 19th, at 6:30pm in Aldrich Hall. We are asking that all consider attending this summer fundraiser as our goal is to come together as a body of Christ to share a meal and fellowship. This is a good time of year to come together as a family, enjoy each other's company, and have some summer fun. All this with a wonderful meal (where can you get a steak dinner with all the fixings and dessert for $20?) and raise funds for our church. The time and talent auction will prove to be very entertaining as our fellow parishioners' true talents unfold..... All in all, it will be a wonderful evening to just be together. Please see any fundraising committee person (Celia Petit, Deidre Marzano, or Jill Shurtleff) for your tickets as soon as possible so we can have a count for the steaks. Most Sincerely, Jill Shurtleff

Time and Talent Auction Talents Are you in need of a handyman?

How about an authentic Italian dinner with homemade wine, delivered? Maybe a tutor for a school age child?

How about 2 hours of babysitting? Window washing? Spanish lesson?

Chicken Parm Dinner? And more.......

*** We are still looking for talented people to be auctioned off, the more the merrier....sign-up sheets are in back of church, drop in box. ***** The committee is looking for a certified bartender for this event.....if any parishioner has this certification or knows anyone who does, please contact Celia Petit as soon as possible. Turkey Supper News We are still in need dining room captain/captains to oversee the volunteer schedule. Everything is precisely written in the turkey supper handbook, the sign-up sheets are available, and the dining room captain would be needed for set up before the event, overseeing the schedule and volunteers during the event, and supervising the clean up after the event. We certainly would welcome a duo working this position......please consider who would work well with YOU and help us make this fundraiser a complete success!! It is coming up fast.... Contact anyone on fundraising, Celia Petit, Rick or Jill Shurtleff, Deirdre Marzano, John Morgan, or Roger Cichy. Turkey supper tickets will be sent out in the first two weeks of September. Please look for them in your mailbox and do all you can to sell six tickets per family. Last year 40% of the tickets sent to the parish were prepaid before the event, fingers crossed, we can raise that percentage this year. Bazaar News Thank you to all table captains for attending our first meeting! It was a complete success! We have established our theme, "Holly" and set many goals as a team! This is how this year's bazaar is going to be the success we know it is going to be, our TEAM!!! We are now looking for our team members to join the captains and work together on something you may find interesting or different. So please, when a captain calls you and invites you to join their team/table, open your heart and say yes to make the job a little less by having more hands. Better yet, have a leap of faith, call a captain and join a team now....what a blessing that would be. Listed are the captains:
