Wearing our nametags (for at least a while) will help!

Our thanks and gratitude to ALL the folk who worked diligently to get the Rectory (formerly known as The Annex) ready for the arrival of Fr. John and Annie. Especial thanks to Rob Fox (who did, among many other chores, such a yeoman's job getting the basement ready); Mark and Cathy Creighton (who power-washed, painted, and gardened outside the house); and Deke and Rita Roberts (who cleaned the inside and washed all the windows). Transformation of ‘the annex’ into a habitable home could not have been accomplished without their efforts. The Vestry is spearheading efforts to make Trinity's outside look as welcoming as we strive to be when visitors come inside. The plan will involve three phases: Clean-up and removal of dead shrubs, mulch and planting around the buildings, and lastly, a garden for the northwest corner of our property. Paul O’Sullivan will be coordinating efforts for Phase One as we work to clean up our current landscape. As he put it, we'll be doing a Backyard Mission for Trinity itself. Look for further details as Paul makes announcements and schedules parish ‘outreach’ days to our own backyard. After the grounds have been cleaned up, we'll be looking for further parish outreach as we work on landscaping projects. Look for future information on activities planned to accomplish this phase. Last but certainly not least, we are looking to the day when a contemplation garden, complete with benches, can be established. Kathy Creighton and a Master Gardener from our community are working on plans. This is a longer range goal which will take time, effort, and funds. Costs for Phases 2 and 3 are still being determined (remember this is a ‘work in progress’!) The long wait is now over. As of June 1, Trinity has a fulltime priest! We welcome Fr. John Drymon and his wife, Annie Stricklin. Ginny Lee Pilstl Senior Warden
Music Notes from Parker Maas
The choir will complete its regular season on June 5th at the first Sunday with Fr. John. We welcome extra voices for this spring finale. We will practice at 8:30 a.m. on that
Sunday.
If anyone would like to provide special music - vocal, instrumental, or both - during the summer, just let me know. We would love to have the Trinity family share their talents!
Also, think about joining us when we resume practice in the fall!

A PRAYER FOR JUNE
Father, make me more watchful of the time that I give to useless thoughts and words, and save me from cutting words, which make deeper impressions than can be cut with sharp tools. Forgive me for the hours that have not been profitable; I would I had them back, for my heart and mind have need of them. I pray that I may not be so occupied in expressing my judgment of others that I will forget to live in thy judgment myself. May I have the compassion for others that I hope to receive from thee. Amen.
