WDLI TRINITY BROADCASTING NETWORK FOR NORTHEAST OHIO Bringing Joy to Our Town Deborah (Markowitz) Solan grew up in a Jewish home in Brooklyn, New York, during the turbulent 1960s. After becoming a Christian she yielded to God’s call to the ministry. Recently, she appeared on Joy in Our Town to share about grief and sexual abuse. Cop Brings Hope to Gangs Pastor Vincent E. Peterson from Provi- dence Baptist Church is also a detective with the police. He shared some of the many reasons young people today feel drawn to gangs. He also gave us tremen- dous ways in which the church can reach out and draw them back. Katrise Bolden Brings Hope! Katrise shared on human traffcking. Katrise is from Kingdom Nation As- semblies of Ministries and said Ohio is in the top 5 states for human traffck- ing, which is defned as forced slavery for sexual exploitation and labor. She declared God can intervene and save! NEWS Cleveland, Akron, Canton October 2016 PR Report WDLI was pleased to partner this month with Haven of Rest for its annual Thanksgiving dinner. WDLI purchased 80 meals for the needy and homeless of our area. Each Thanksgiving Haven of Rest provides a dinner for around 750 people. Last year the mission provided 300,647 meals and 68,100 nights of lodging. The Haven also sponsers a shelter, called the Harvest Home, for women and children.
