– Caudal nucleus (pain)– Interpolar nucleus (caudal part for pain-mouth)– Oral nucleus (???)– Main sensory nucleus

• 3 Separate thalamic pain nuclei & 1 for touch:– Pain (VPM, VMpo, MD)– Touch (VPM)
