Meaning

• The tribulation of the Saints is different than the tribulation period at the end time– Adversity, anguish, oppression or persecution

during the church age is for the perfecting of the Saints

– The distress, suffering, plagues, and natural disasters at the end time is for judgment of the devil and his followers ending with them being cast into the lake of fire.
