Cleanliness is next to … ADOPTION! We make every effort to

keep the Shelter spotlessly clean. The biggest compliment we

receive from visitors is: it doesn’t smell! Please help us help

our adoptable pets stay healthy and available for adoption. !

We really need bleach, Odo-ban Cleaner, paper towels, 55 gal-

lon contractor bags, and 30 gallon trash bags. These items can

be used for School Community Service!

June’s Lab

watched the

TV screen

with intensi-

ty, and to-

gether they watched a news

story: TCHS had rescued

some of the 263 dogs taken

from a Puppy Mill. Later,

when the story ran again, her

Lab again sat to watch the

bright face of

Thomas Edi-

son, one of

those rescued.

The next day,

Thomas was

rescued again,

by June and her family. They

decided to give back this holi-

day season by holding a com-

munity wide stock up collec-

tion of sheets, towels and

other items we use on a daily

basis. As you prep for your

holidays, please consider

donating these household

goods to the Shelter.

relationships with pets waiting for adoption. Happy pets are

what we strive for! THANKS AGAIN!

SYLVIA GOT A JOB! Our beau-

supreme at The Boca Beach

House, a pet friendly Farm to

Table restaurant on Palmetto. “I

just love big dogs,” says Mom.

Well, she chose wisely!

Laffy-Taffy was another short-

timer! This sweet Husky mix was

running happy-laps in the Lobby

between Mom and Dad … who’s

my favorite? Are you my favor-

ite? No … you are. No … . We

don’t think she’ll need to choose!

Dreams can come true, it can happen to you … <<< This is Summer on the day that we rescued her from a hording situation. This 2 year old Whippet Mix was so skinny, her hip and rib bones were visible

under her skin. Fast forward to today >>>, here is Summer with her new brother Timmy. “It was time for Summer to have a sibling, and why would I come any-where else to find another perfect dog?” said Mom. We’re grateful this holiday season to have the support we do, that enables us to go into horrible situations

such as we rescued Summer from. Thank you for your financial assistance.

Go Giants! San Francisco Gi-

ants, that is. Dave and his son

were in town for the Chris Evert

Pro-Celebrity event, and fell in

love! Tink went straight from

Sweet Miranda got a whirlwind

tour of the Shelter. She went in

to her run, came out for a photo,

and two hours later was climbing

happily into NewMom’s lap! This

happy girl spent T-Day entertain-

ing her new siblings.

Champ stepped into the winners

circle when he went home. This

high-stepping charmer took Mom

for a walk, with an ear to ear grin

on his face. Another Happy Hol-

Hickory is such an affable fellow,

that there was no other place for

him to be! This low key fellow

can look forward to life at his

CAN YOU BE A FOSTER PARENT TO A SENIOR PET?

We have so many sweet Seniors, like Miss Joey (pg 3), who

at age 14 was discarded by her family. She and other older

pets would love to spend their days in a loving home. All ani-

mals come with medical records, and medications if needed.

AND STILL MORE PETS FOUND THEIR FOREVER HOMES!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR EVENTS!

EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO HELP AT OUR MANY UPCOMING

EVENTS. PLEASE CALL AMANDA AT 561-482-8110.

Sylvia, now Lily, shows her silly

side in her new home. We’re so

happy that she and her new par-

ents not only found each other, but

were meant to make a happy fami-

ly. Lily, a gentle soul, was misun-

derstood by her previous family

because of her size. She’s a big dog with a big heart, but they

expected her so be something she wasn’t. Happily, Lily is now

in a home in a home where she is loved and understood.

She’s embracing her new freedom, and lovin’ they joy that

comes with being spoiled as she should be. Big dogs have big

love to give. Think of us the next time you want to ‘super-size’

your canine companion. We’re sure to have just the right size

to fit your families needs.

You can visit Sylvia/Lily at her new

place of business,

The Boca Beach House.

She’ll welcome you at an upcoming

event soon!

Max held out hope that SOME-

ONE in his new family would be

able to keep up with him! And

happily he found his new run/

play partner.

Smiley has a good reason to be

… well, SMILEY! He’s going

home! This couple looked and

looked for the perfect addition,

and happily found him here!
