The future of any heating systems is laying among solutions that work well with low temperature renewable sour-ces of heating energy, also by achieving a high level of system energy efficiency.
A solid technical background for this pro-duct – Fan Assisted Trench Heater type Turbo VKN5 has been created during a long term R&D process conducted to-gether with Warsaw Technical Univer-sity, Cracow Technical University, Lublin Technical University and Polish Scientific Academy, whereas its brand new desi-gn through innovative construction has achieved better hydraulic and heating characteristic.
During the process of optimization R&D, a high level heating emitter has been achieved, whereas it would raise an energy efficiency of the heat distribution throughout the building but also incre-asing an effectiveness of low tempera-ture heating systems since it has been working along with them.
Fan Assisted Trench Heater TURBO VKN5 has been design bearing in mind being suitable for spacious interiors having many glazed façades. Using a modern fan motor that will use low energy con-sumption feature and producing very low noise level would not distract any room occupants whilst precise and sim-plified control panel would enable easy and exact adjustment of desired tempe-
rature. Using an economical fan resulted with designing heating emitter producing more output with shorter adjustment reaction time. Additionally low thermal inertia and using advanced electronic control resulted an optional savings on running costs up to 20% in a heat season. Trench Heater Turbo VKN5 may be a per-fect solution for low supply temperature heating systems or high condensation wet installations, also is available in high supply pressure versions. Relatively low depth of trench required for such a he-ating emitter would allow to put trench heater in floor/ceiling space of any sto-rey. Evenly distributed heat in a room is one of many significant benefits of using trench heating.

ENERGY SAVINGS
Big advantage of this type of trench heaters is their high wor-king dynamic, quick coping with any changes in room thermal conditions, even warm air distri-bution throughout a room and low running costs.
Fan assisted trench heater is a perfect match for low temperatu-re water installations and heating systems.
FUNCTIONALITY
Trench heating distributes he-ating in perfect and discrete man-ner inside spacious and elegant interiors that having usually large glass façades. The only visible ele-ment of trench heating is an ele-gant grille that is composed into the floor that covers trench and coil elements.
Easy access through taking off a grille would enable easy access for cleaning or maintenance of a trench heating.
COMFORT
Trench heating are the ones that among many types of heating emitters would react in the quic-kest way for any changes of any thermal requirements in a room. This quick adaptation capacity allows to avoid any room overhe-ating.
Trench heating that are placed along the outskirts of a building would create a natural air curtain that may separate warm and cold air and prevents ‘floating’ cold air at the low, floor base level.
Using trench heating allows to eliminate of the moisture conden-sation from the surface of glass façades.
DURABILITY
There are high quality materials being used for designing copper aluminum coil, that also warrants corrosion resistance but also pro-tection against low quality of wa-ter from the boiler.
Due to using a raw steel with hot dip zm coating our heating emit-ters are usually more corrosion resistant.

TURBO VKN5
Any empty space in a ceiling/floor void may result louder work of fan motors of trench heating units. In order to avoid any lon-gitudinal deflection (deflection of trench casing borders) during concrete coating you should use some elements that will expand a trench casing. Inside Turbo VKN5 trench heating units there are leveling and mount brackets, that will also enable fitting trench casing into a floor.
Holders that would keep the coil tight during the transport, are secured by screws to the trench casing. Before any fitting work you should unscrew screws that hold heat exchanger frame and implicitly take off the fan from a trench. When trench casing is fitted you need to tighten screws.
In a trench casing there are four holes – two of them are put at the same height as mounting brackets of a heat exchanger, third hole is as a spare one (i.e. for any fit-ting in any connections or capillary etc.).
It is forbidden to lead any water connec-tions along the coil inside the trench ca-sing, as it may harm temperature float by limiting an air exchange inside a trench. Connections of coil have internal thread of

24V Fan Coil trench heating is assembled to keep coil room side and to keep fan motor on a window side. In order to avoid causing any heat loss through the floor space, trench casing should be thermo insulated from outside of the trench casing. When assembling fan assisted trench heating unit you should remember to provide proper acoustic insulation in a spa-ce created by a trench void and through all layers of a floor.
¾˝. It could be connected by straight or angled thermostatic valves. There should be free space remained (for any connections, valves etc.) for c.a. 7 inch. It is not possible to turn around the coil heat exchanger for 180° according to its instal- lation. As an alternative it is possible to manufacture, according to any demand a trench heater having right side (R) or left side (L) valve connection. The side of valve connection to the water installation sho-uld be specified once the specific trench heating is being ordered.

Thermostatic valve must be installed on the supply pipe, and the return valve on the return pipe. The electric-thermal servo-motor is installed directly on the thermostatic valve. Servo-motor must be con-nected to the room controller via a two-wire cable. Room controller allows you to open and close the valve and control the fan speed.
