Tredecim (latin for thirteen) is an English furniture company who specialise in the creation of exceptional furniture from sand cast aluminium(Al), the 13th element in the periodic table. Aluminium is an extraordinary base metal and by hand casting it in sand we create designswhich are rust proof, rot proof and will never warp or split.

Our furniture is impervious to sun, rain, frost and snow and will look beautiful year after year, without the need for any maintenance. Weprovide a 20 year structural warranty and a 10 year colour guarantee on every piece.

All Tredecim furniture has been developed in partnership with, and is endorsed by, the world’s leading authority on gardening matters;The Royal Horticultural Society.

Tredecim hand made cast aluminium furniture can be left outside all yearround in sun, rain, frost and snow. There is no need to cover or store thefurniture at anytime. There is no need for maintenance.

Tredecim are so confident that our garden furniture will look the same year,after year that we offer an unrivalled two part guarantee:-

1) A 20 Year Structural Warranty. In the course of normal domestic useTredecim furniture will not break or bend, nor rust or rot.

2) A 10 Year Colour Guarantee. In the course of normal domestic use fora period of 10 years our paint will not peel, fade or crack.

If it does we will replace it free of charge.

100% WEATHER PROOF ALL YEAR ROUND - GUARANTEED


Tredecim manufactures from a particular grade of 100% recycledaluminium; lm6, an ultra-sustainable material that reuses wastealuminium materials and consumes only 5% of the energy neededto produce aluminium from ore.

Our manufacturing process starts by smelting 100% recycledaluminium ingots in heat resistant crucibles and hand pouring themolten liquid into a series of sand moulds at a constant andcontinuous rate.

This artisan method of sand casting creates wholly solid componentswith exceptional surface detail and facilitates our unique 3d patterns.

Left to cool and harden naturally these individual sand castcomponents are then carefully hand welded together usingaluminium solder to create a single solid piece of furniture withoptimum strength and stability and no nuts, bolts or fixings to breakor fail.

The furniture is then degreased, chromate etched and colourpowder coated as a whole single piece.

Finally the furniture is baked at 180 degrees centigrade to allow thepowder colour to super adhere into the aluminium surface to createexceptional colour longevity.

MANUFACTURING


How to Order

Delivery

Ordering Tredecim furniture in our Indian Summer Sale is easy and can be done by phoneor email and further information is also available on-line. Simply quote code ISP13 and thenlet us know the pieces you require, the colour of the furniture and colour of the cushions.Our sales representative will then be able to advise you of any applicable delivery charge(charged at cost) as well a delivery time from our factory.

A 50% deposit is required to confirm any order and begin the manufacturing process. For security payment can be made using Visa, MasterCard or debit cards. The balance payment will only be taken the week prior to delivery. NB Sale ends Monday 7th October 2013.

Delivery is not included in the price of the furniture and is an additional cost. Tredecimoffer three specific delivery options:

1) Mainland UK Deliveries are fulfilled using a specialist two man white glove deliveryservice and this includes installing the furniture in your designated area and removingall packaging materials. Our charges for this service are based on a combination of ordersize/value and geographic post code – calculated per mile.

2) Non Mainland UK & Mainland Europe deliveries are fulfilled by either a white glovetwo man delivery service or a general ‘carry gently’ road haulage service.

3) Tredecim also make regular international deliveries and we can organise door to doordelivery via air or sea freight to any destination.
