In Mexico there are many places where the tap water isn’t purified. We recommend that one does not drink the tap water. Most hotels in the Cancun Hotel Zone have their own purification systems, so you can safely shower, brush your teeth and use the ice. As a rule, make sure the cap on bottled water is securely sealed before you drink.
