Autumn in Cancun, MexicoCancunAutumn in Cancun is perfect with the average high at 81 degrees and a low of 73 degrees. June is the hottest month on average with temperatures around 82 degrees and the coldest month is January with temperatures around 73 degrees.

Cancun is located on the Yucatan Peninsula, a flat platform of limestone that emerged from the sea. The soil is not very thick so the vegetation is semi-tropical jungle with wild and exuberant fauna.

In Mexico there are many places where the tap water isn’t purified. We recommend that one does not drink the tap water. Most hotels in the Cancun Hotel Zone have their own purification systems, so you can safely shower, brush your teeth and use the ice. As a rule, make sure the cap on bottled water is securely sealed before you drink.
