    Galilee. While on the boat well pause for a brief worshipservice and remember the many miracles our Lordperformed in this area. Well dock at Nof Ginossar to visitthe Jesus Boat museum to see a boat that dates backto the time of Jesus. Then we will stop at the Primacy ofPeter where Jesus commanded Peter to Feed my sheep.Then well proceed to Capernaum to see the remains of anearly church, the ruins of Peters house, and the ancientsynagogue. After lunch well travel through NorthernIsrael and view the Golan Heights while our guide explainsthe controversial and strategic points of this tract of land.Then we will descend to the site of Banias where springsform a source of the Jordan River. Near here Peter made

    his great confession that Jesus Christ was Lord! Fromseveral vantage points today we can see Mount Herman inthe distance. We will then stop in the Southern Golan fora scenic view of the Sea of Galilee. Then well gather onthe Mount of Beatitudes by the Sea of Galilee to read theSermon on the Mount whileoverlooking the Jordan Valley.On the return to our hotelin Tiberias well stop on thebanks of the Jordan River for abaptismal service (B/L/D).

    May 30 - TIBERIAS - BETSHEAN - GIDEON SPRINGS

    - JERICHO - JERUSALEMThis morning we will leavethe Galilee area travel souththrough the Jordan RiverValley. Today you will see Bible prophecy come alive. Westop and visit the new excavations at Beit Shean. Herewe will see the excavations of the city where the Philistineshung the bodies of Saul and Jonathan. Then well stopat Gideon Springs where Gideon chose his army to ghtthe Midianites. After a brief worship service well travelthrough the Jordan Valley to Jericho, one of the oldestcities in the world. If conditions permit, we will enterJericho to see the excavations of the ancient walls, viewthe Mount of Temptation, and see Elijahs Spring. After

    lunch we will begin the ascent to Jerusalem, which takesus along the path of the Good Samaritan. Then we arrivein Jerusalem, capital of Israel for over 3000 years. Wewill stop on Mount Scopus and our guide will lead us in thetraditional Jewish welcome, a custom which dates back tothe time of Abraham. Dinner and overnight will be at ourhotel in Jerusalem (B/L/D).

    May 31 - MASADA - EIN GEDI - QUMRAN DEADSEA - JERUSALEMAfter an excellent breakfast buffet we leave early thismorning to travel to the mountain fortress of Masada,truly a remarkable piece of history. Well ascend by cablecar to visit the magni cent ruins of the fortress where the

    May 26 - DEPART USAAfter leaving our departure airport, we will connect inPhiladelphia to board our ight to Tel Aviv. This eveningwe will enjoy a delicious dinner high above the Atlantic.

    May 27 - ARRIVE TEL AVIV - JOPPAWelcome Home -- to the Land of your Bible! We arrive inTel Aviv in the middle of the afternoon. Upon arrival, wewill be met by our TEMPLETON TOURS representative whowill assist us through customs. After airport procedureshave been completed, we will visit Joppa, Jonahs portof embarkation for Tarshish. Joppa was also the homeof Tabitha (or Dorcas) who was raised from the deadby Peter. It was also here that Peter learned that Godwas interested in the salvation of the Gentiles. After ourtour of Joppa we will transfer to our hotel for dinner andovernight (D).

    May 28 - TEL AVIV - CAESAREA - MEGIDDO -NAZARETH - TIBERIASAfter breakfast at our hotel we will meet our local guideand driver and begin our tour of the Holy Land. Our rststop will be Caesarea by the sea. There we will visit theCrusaders castle, the Roman amphitheater, the seaportfrom which the Apostle Paul sailed to Rome, and theRoman aqueduct system. Continue along the coast toMount Carmel to see the site of Elijahs triumph overthe prophets of Baal. After lunch we continue northto Megiddo on the Plain of Armageddon to see KingSolomons stables and water supply system. Prophecywill come alive at Megiddo as we look over the Valley ofArmageddon, site of the nal world war! We then travel toNazareth, the boyhood home of Jesus, to visit the oldestof the churches of the annunciation and Marys well. Onour way to Tiberias we will stop in the little town of Canawhere Christ turned the water into wine. We will hold ashort ceremony in an ancient church for the couples whowish to renew their marriage vows. Then well proceed toour hotel in Tiberias on the Sea of Galilee for dinner andovernight (B/L/D).

    Jewish zealots made the last stand of the Judean revoltagainst Rome. Today the remains of Herods buildings,palaces, storehouses, cisterns, and a 6th CenturyByzantine church are still in view. After our exciting tourof Masada we will drive north to the shores of the DeadSea to take a quick swim in the salty waters of the DeadSea. After lunch, we are off to Ein Gedi, a green oasis inthe middle of the desert, and see the area where Davidhid while eeing from King Saul. Afterwards we will travelto Qumran to see the caves where they hid some of theDead Sea Scrolls. Dinner and overnight will be at ourhotel in Jerusalem (B/L/D).

    June 1 - MOUNT OF OLIVES - SOUTHERN WALLEXCAVATIONS - TEMPLE MOUNT - POOL OFBETHESDA - YAD VSHEM - BETHLEHEMThis morning we will travel a short distance to the Mountof Olives for a breathtaking view of the city of Jerusalem.

    While we are here, ourguide will point out all of theimportant sites of Jerusalem.Then we will embark on anexciting walking tour throughthe Old city of Jerusalem. Ourrst stop will be at the SouthernWall excavation site. Here wewill walk on the very stones

    where Jesus trod to Herods second temple and see theplace where our Savior taughtthe Scriptures. Afterwards, if

    the situation permits, we will ascend to the Temple areawhere the Jewish temple stood until its destruction bythe Roman Legions in 70 A.D. There well pass the Domeof the Rock Mosque built over the rock where Abrahamprepared to sacri ce Isaac, the Aksa Mosque, and theGolden Gate. Well continue our walk through the Old Cityto the beautiful Crusader Church dedicated to St. Anneand the nearby Pool of Bethesda. Our morning tour willconclude with a visit to the Yad VShem, a museum builtin memory of the 6,000,000 Jews murdered by the Nazisduring World War II. If the situation permits, we will thentake a short drive to Bethlehem to visit the Church of theNativity, built over the cave of Christs birth, as well as theShepherds Field and plains of Boaz. We will also see theancient crafts of Bethlehem, dating from Crusader times.Time permitting we will visit one of the famous Bethlehemgift shops before returning to our hotel (B/L/D).

    June 2 - WESTERN WALL TUNNEL - PILATESPALACE - UPPER ROOM - JEWISH QUARTER -MUSEM OF TEMPLE TREASURES - SHRINE OF THEBOOK - MODEL CITYOur third day in Jerusalem begins with a visit to the

    famous Western Wall and Tunnel Excavation site. Our nextstop will be the Antonio Fortress, site of Pilates Palace.Well pass many of the traditional Stations of the Crosson the Via Dolorosa and also see part of the old colorfuloriental market. We will continue our walk and visit therestored Jewish Quarter and the Roman Cardo. The Cardowas the main street of Jerusalem in Roman times. We willalso visit the Museum of Temple Treasures to see someof the instruments that will be used in the new JewishTemple. Then well proceed to Mount Zion to visit theUpper Room, traditional site of the Last Supper and there of the Holy Spirit on Pentecost. We will also visit thetraditional location of the Tomb of King David. After lunch

    we will visit the Shrine of the Book museum where someof the Dead Sea Scrolls are kept. We will also visit theModel City of Jerusalem, a 1:50 scale model of Jerusalemas it was during Jesus time on earth (B/L/D).

    June 3 - GETHSEMANE - HOUSE OF CAIAPHAS -CALVARY - GARDEN TOMB - TEL AVIVToday is our last day in the Holy Land so we want to makethe most of it. We start our tour with a visit to the Gardenof Gethsemane where Jesus had His agony and wasbetrayed. There we will pause for devotion and prayertime in a private garden. After our worship service we willtake a short walk through the Valley of the Tombs. Alongthe way we will pass the traditional tombs of Absalom and

    Ezra. After our walk we will visit the recent archaeologicaldiscovery of the Pool of Siloam. This is the place whereJesus told the blind man to wash the mud from his eyesso he would see. Then we will visit the House of Caiaphaswhere Peter denied Christ three times. After lunch, we willconclude our tour of the Holy Land with a visit to Calvaryand the Garden Tomb, a peaceful spot where we canremember Christs cruci xion, burial, and resurrection andshare in the Lords Supper. After our communion servicewe will return to the hotel for dinner. After dinner we willcheck out of our hotel and transfer to the airport in Tel Avivfor our return ight to the USA (B/L/D).

    June 4 - ARRIVE USAWe arrive back in the USA this morning with memoriesthat will last a lifetime.

    DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS: A deposit of $250.00 per person is required to make aeservation. An additional payment of $750.00 per person is due February 25, 2014.
