County Executive’s vision of a thriving economy, great schools, safe neighborhoods and high quality healthcare by targeting cross-governmental resources to communities that have significant needs.

According to CountyStat, crime in TNI areas decreased 41% between 2012 and 2014 and this is a trend that continues all across the County.

TNI has had a great impact on raising the quality of life in areas deemed most in need of help. We have learned the importance of taking a holistic approach to addressing the challenges of troubled communities. Through this initiative we are accomplishing the mission and goals of the Baker Administration and will continue to work on improving the County’s most challenging areas.
