Bury council services not for sale!Response to the Council consultation on Transforming Bury Services

Bury Council services, from libraries, parks and leisure to social services for children and adults, are directly provided by council staff. As Council Tax payers we demand high quality public services which are directly provided through a democratically accountable body capable of being scrutinised by elected councillors. We do not believe that this quality can be achieved by commissioning services piecemeal from private profit making agencies.

Therefore:I want Bury services to continue to be delivered directly by Bury Council for Bury’s people.
