“ I came to Nipissing and lived in residence because I

wanted to experience a small community, and that’s

exactly what I got. I’ve met some of my closest friends

here and that’s turned campus into home for me. Getting

involved as a volunteer first and now as a Don taught

me new skills – from large scale budgeting and how to

act in a meeting to handling difficult social situations

while building harmony within a community. It helped

me make some incredible connections, and my team feels

oddly like my little family.”
