Cross-cultural

• initiates some movement between categories as they cross over, this way and that, to the "other side" or "side(s)";

• yet, crossing over does not imply that those elements mix in any way.

Intracultural

• indicates those cultural elements that are shared between a people-for example, a marriage between two persons from the same cultural background or

• traditional theater forms such as Japanese Kabuki or Indian Bharata Natyam that re-flect a particular group of people, their lan-guage, and customs.

Intercultural

• would imply that there are two or more as-pects coming together, not necessarily in any particular way, but, nevertheless, con-necting.

Interculturalism

• refers to support for cross-cultural dialogue and challenging self-segregation tendencies within cultures.[1]

• Interculturalism involves moving beyond mere passive acceptance of a multicultural fact of multiple cultures effectively existing in a society and instead promotes dialogue and interaction between cultures.[2]

• is a form of communication that aims to share information across different cultures and social groups. It is used to describe the wide range of communication processes and problems that naturally appear within an or-ganization made up of individuals from dif-ferent religious, social, ethnic, and educa-tional backgrounds
