This latest technology in train weighing is ideal for High-Speed train weighing up to 80kmh-(dependant on track/site conditions and test train/rolling stock).
Concrete foundation or civil works are not always required, however this is greatly dependantupon site conditions, although some form of ballast stabilisation is highly recommended.(Our ballast matting is a low cost alternative to concrete)
Our unique bracing technique has been used to provide maximum stability of the train scalein the ballast. This also helps to eliminate impact effects at the weighing transition points, byhaving the steel framework as one complete rigid section, in turn greatly enhancing
weighing accuracy and scale reliability.
The INFINITY consists of 6 electronic weigh sleepers & 14 dummy sleepers braced togetherforming one solid structure, including accessories, control cabinet and PC train weighingsoftware.

No rail cutting, welding or grinding required.
Minimal installation/repair track down time.

The LTS4 In-Motion (WIM) train scale consistsof two (2) electronic weigh sleepers & four (4)dummy sleepers braced together forming one solidstructure, including accessories, control cabinet andPC train weighing software.
A unique bracing technique has been used toprovide maximum stability of the train scale in theballast. This also helps to eliminate impact effects atthe weighing transition points by having the steelframework as one complete rigid section greatlyenhancing weighing Accuracy and Scale Reliability.
The LTS4 train scale is the ideal low speed solutionfor mine loadouts, industrial plants, cement plants,power stations, steel mills etc.
Installation of the LTS4 train weighing system takesapprox 1 day. Concrete foundation or civil works arenot always required, however, this is greatlydependant upon site conditions, although some formof ballast stabilisation is highly recommended. (ie.we can use ballast matting)
The LTS4 train weighing system is installed onewagon or more out from the loadout, and providesthe operator with bogie and wagon weight data inreal time. This unique train weighing system enablesthe loading operator to regulate the filling so that thewagons are not overloaded. Weight data storage,printout & other features are also available.

The PTW is a train weighing system that can be transported in the trunk of a car orutility/pickup and set up to weigh and spot check a rail vehicle/train anywhere.
The PTW is a loadcell based system which is clamped to the inner sides of most conventionalrail. When the wheel flange rolls up the ramp, the rail vehicles wheels tyre is raised just clearof the rail head and weighed. The advantage of the PTW weighing axle-by-axle is that there isno restriction with regards to wagon type. The Trakblaze PTW is pre-calibrated, so no transportof test weights or calibrated wagons are required - (individual wheel weights can also beobtained).

The WIZ identification system operates on the principal of modulatedbackscatter. The trackside reader/antenna sends a continuous unmodulatedradio frequency (RF) signal, which is received by the tag(transponder). Thetag on the vehicle reflects a smal l part of this RF energy back to thereader/antenna. The reflected radio waves denote the tag's unique id andother stored data which is transmitted to a PC.

The advantages of the new and unique
mobile/portable bogie weighing system are
huge, as it can be easily moved to anyrequired location, quickly set up and requires
minimum operator training.
The MBW mobile/portable bogie test rig (Bogie Mainte-
nance System) in its current design is for light rail vehi-
cles.
The new design distinguishes from commonly used
pressing measurement test rigs by usage of the newpulling principle, which allows an especially
compact setup. The MBW Mobile Bogie Weigher simu-
lates operational loads which means defined forces
acting on the bogie, and captures data as wheel reaction
forces, parallelism of axles and wheel discs as well as
several other geometric measures at the same time.
Modular test rig design using standardised components, for instance:
Test rigs with integrated track width adjustment.
Internal and external measuring points of the test rig.
Determination of acting forces, transmitted into the bogie.
Equipment with measuring bars for determination of wheel reaction forces in case of different
distances between axles.
Equipment with measuring prism for determination of wheel reaction forces as well as
automatic detection of wheel diameter and parallelism of axles. Measuring devices for parallelism of wheel discs.
Measuring devices for an aribitrary number of z-measuring points within the bogie.

TURBO System assures the protection of infrastruc-
ture from excessive wear. It provides immediate infor-
mation on the status of the wheels tread defects like
flat spots, spalling, shelling, out-of-roundness etc. The
gathered long term trends of these quality characteris-
tics can save a huge amount of money on maintenance
costs.

This is how it works: One fixture contains a laser emitting
laser ray. The ray is shielded by a flexibly supported iron
tube.
A passing wheel will bend the rail and displace the laser
light spot downwards, proportionally to the bending
moment. Thus the bending moment is detected with
unmatched precision.
