Additional Information on Training Levels

The East Metro Training Group will strive to provide quality in-house training to replace some of the external classes we attended in the past

Not all training requests are approved. Even if you feel it is required training. There may be another plan in place to meet those requirements

Training Form This form can be found on the

regional training website under documents and forms.

Choose the Level you are requesting Mileage cost is figured by the total

miles from: (1) your work place to the location of the training, or (2) your home to the location of training, WHICH EVER IS LESS

Overtime hours, when approved, are paid for hours spent in class. Overtime will not be paid for travel time

“Backfill” is the total number of hours you will be absent from work, including travel time, where you will be replaced using overtime.

Fill out the form completely on-line. Then print it, sign it, attach class information and any other required forms and send to Kirkland’s training office at Station 26
