About Prosperity Home Mortgage, LLCProsperity Home Mortgage, LLC (PHM) offers qualifying candidates with no experience a paid mortgage processing training program and the opportunity to learn how to become a high performing mortgage team member who supports customers in the process of financing the home of their dreams. This program provides the skills you need to advance your career in financial services. Once you’ve completed your initial orientation and training in Chantilly, Virginia, you’ll be assigned to one of five mortgage operations centers near your home area and the hands-on training begins. You’ll learn valuable business skills from capable mentors who were once in your shoes.

Paid Training Program:During your first year, as you progress, you will be tested and evaluated to determine your proficiency in mortgage loan processing, customer service and teamwork. Successful completion of these tests and evaluations will result in rewards, pay increases and the opportunity for continued promotions.
As you progress, increasingly more opportunities will become available to you. You can choose to continue your rewarding ascent within our Mortgage Loan Processor track or you can explore one of many other exciting options including Mortgage Loan Underwriter, Business Analyst, and Mortgage Sales Consultant and more.
Year One and Beyond:
As a Mortgage Loan Processor Trainee, you will learn how to deliver superior customer service.
A Mortgage Loan Processor Trainee is also responsible for learning:
• How to communicate with customers, co-workers andpartners in a manner which shows sensitivity, tact, andprofessionalism• How to read and understand real estate appraisals,property titles, and credit reports• How to obtain and assemble complete loan packages• How to verify all required documentation forcompleteness and accuracy• How to understand rules, regulations, policies and/orprocedures along with investor guidelines• How to clear conditions and issue changes to theterms of financing• How to maintain daily case workflow priorities to ensure meeting required closing dates• How to use Encompass360 technology,and more…
Essential Responsibilities:
It goes without saying that you’ll need to have an interest in financial services to do well as a Mortgage Loan Processor Trainee. Problem solving is another common skill that we rate, along with these:• Learning Orientation: fast learning, self-developmentand curiosity to learn• Demonstrated natural leadership ability(extracurricular activities)• Technical Capacity: strong analytical skills andaccuracy in work• Teamwork: ability to work in a multi-cultural andcross-functional team• Ability to adapt positively to a changing environment;

problems• Business ethics, honesty and integrity
• Must pass criminal background check
Minimum Skills and Experience:
- This is an entry-level positionwith no experience in the mortgageindustry necessary.• High School diploma or GED, AASDegree preferred• Solid computer, grammar and multi-tasking skills• Strong attention to detail, time managementand decision making skills• Ability to complete a preliminary 10 hour onlineself-study course• Ability to attend a 3 week training program in Chantilly,VA• U.S. work authorization; H-1B sponsorship is not availablefor this program
