About Satya

SATYA has been active since 2001 in field of social welfare and formally registered under Rajasthan society’s registration act.

SATYA believes in effective social networking of available and requisite resources, through integrated planning and community participation. SATYA aims at an all-inclusive human development.

Inspite of working for just a few years, we have developed a sound intellectual property, infrastructure, skills, technology, resources and achieved initial targets.

VisionThe principle thought of upholding truth in all endeavors to target integrated development through harmonious human development for all sections and strata of the society can be realized only when it operates through a set combination strategy, which includes research, interpretation of findings, designing practical strategies and effective implementation. To realize the desired goals in real sense and through comprehensive and integrated approach this can be done only by the MECHANISM i.e. Utilization the Network of (NGO, Government, Local People, Technology, Resource- then Resource Mobilization) which ultimately produce a strategical model to work upon.

Satya Milestones

Social JusticeSatya is working for case reconciliation and has already has solved 40 cases of domestic violence, of complex nature. Satya has developed Police Public Coordination Committee in Thana Vidhayakpuri.

The outcome: Our networking model of NGO, police and community, we launched, shall be working forever as a system not just a project.

Urban DevelopmentSolid waste management

Satya is working with JMC and Military that benefited approx. 10000 households and 50000 people and providing employment to 200 people and generating awareness about health and hygiene for not only community and slums but also for safaiwalas worker/laborer.

Satya is also designing model in coordination with experts and concerned departments as per ‘Management of Solid Waste’ norms and recommendations.

Rural Development

Satya conducted survey to assess the socio-economic impact on submerging villages and command area for Isarda dam in Sawaimadhopur and Tonk and Parwan canal in Jhalawar for Department of Irrigation.

We have recently adopted Teetaria village of Chaksu block under the ‘Ek gram, Ek Sanstha’ programme of government of Rajasthan to work with holistic approach in all 17 enlisted areas. We shall be developing different committees within village to realize real community participation.

Health

Satya is working for HIV-AIDS counseling and awareness with ESI-NACO model hospital and set up Counseling center in Mansarovar in coordination with Rajasthan AIDS control Society. Satya has 4 counselors (2 males, 2 females) who has already counseled 4000 people which includes 10 cases of HIV positive.

Educational development and Training

Satya institute of social work management is affiliated with VMRF, deemed university, distance education, and running mainly MSW and other courses.

Satya conducted vocational training of textile designing and printing, art and craft, beautician, cookery, etc. in slum area as well as summer training at the institute.

NGO Resource Center

Satya is conducting research (as consultancy agency-under its NGO resource center) on ‘Vacuum Between Police and Public’ for Rajasthan Police Department.

We are developing a model on the basis of findings to improve the relationship between police and community.
