Training and qualification
The authorities will state the qualifications required to ensure that professionals obtain basic training and lifelong learning
The Territorial Council will promote training actions to support domiciliary non-professional carers
Different regulations define the training and qualification basis for domiciliary care, according to LAAD

TRAINING AND QUALIFICATION
DOMICILIARY CARE: TRAINING AND QUALIFICATION IN SPAIN
The interconnected regulation system lead us to some findings: To work in domiciliary care will be needed “Domiciliary Care Professional Qualification”.
The aforementioned qualification will be required progressively until 2015, year in which will be necessary that 100% of professionals are qualified.
Training and qualification will be oriented to 3 type of learners:
New learners without experience: They can study through Vocational Training System to obtain a qualification.
Professional with experience without certificate: They can be qualified proving their experience.
Informal carers: They can receive training to support their work and also be qualified.
