What is an EHCP?

From September 2014 Education, Health and Care Plans( EHC plans) will replace statements of special educational needs (SEN) and Learning Difficulties Assessments (LDA).

An EHC plan will be tailored to meet particular needs so each child or young persons plan will look different. The aim of the EHCP is to ensure that the child's views, feelings and aspirations are considered.
