Travelling • People can use land, water, and

air to travel and deliver things. What do we use in our everyday life?

• When people travel by land they use bikes, motorbikes, cars, trains, buses and trucks. They think, it’s the safest way of travelling.

• People use their bikes when they want to be fit or they go to work. When the weather is nice they like to use their motorbikes to go on holiday.

• When people travel to a remote place they travel by car, coach or train.

Travelling in a big city

People can use public transport means in a big city. They have to buy a seson ticket and they can get on every transport means. In big cities people travel by bus, trolley bus, tram and suburban train. They also use the underground because it’s faster than other transport means . If you have a lot of money, you can travel by taxi or cab.

Transport of goods - truck, lorry, juggernaut • When companies or

firms transport goods they usually transport them by trucks, lorries or juggernauts. They also transport them by train.

• Transport of goods is faster by trucks than trains especially if the company has some of them. It’s also cheaper. Before transportation they have to upload the truck.

Travelling by air• When you travel abroad you

should travel by plane because it’s fastest and it is the most comfortable way of travelling. I think it’s the most expensive of all.

• People can also carry goods by plane. These planes have a big cargo hold.

• Nowdays there are a lot of millionaires who have their own planes and their planes are at aerodromes. They use their planes to fly as a hobby or travel on holiday or on business.

Travelling by ship• They use the ship to carry goods or

passengers. Wealthy people can go on a holiday if they buy tickets to travel on a cruise ship. It is a luxury ship which has some pools, tennis courts and a cinema, clubs and restaurants which is a fast fist for a king.

• If you are rich you can buy a yacht and use it whenever you want to .

• Carrying cargo by water is slow but they can carry a lot of goods on big ships. They can carry cargo on the rivers, seas or oceans.
