TrackStar is an online resource that allows teachers and students to connect to standards based lessons and activities. The site also allows teachers to create the lessons and activities that students (and other activities that students (and other teachers alike) might find useful for future instructional purposes.

� What is TrackStar?

TrackStar is an online resource for teachers and students that stores online lessons and activities. It allows teachers to also create their own websites for student use as well as utilize lessons and activities already compiled on the site by other already compiled on the site by other teachers.

� BenefitsTrackStar is helpful in that teachers can “have their cake and eat it too” by having online resources available to them at their finger tips, or creating their own units based upon standards and current scope and sequence. It is also useful for differentiated instruction as the resources differentiated instruction as the resources for the various tracks are multiple in nature.

� Limitations

The basic limitation of TrackStar is that teachers may feel the pressure of being pressed with time and may not utilize the “create your own track” option often.
