I. Introducción

Dentro de los sistemas de telecomunicaciones, es de vital importancia entender los conceptos de radio propagación, radioenlaces de servicio fijo y sistemas de comunicaciones móviles, por lo para entender mejor se utilizará el software RadioMobile, cuya herramienta además de ser gratuita, nos permite realizar escenarios prácticos.

II. Objetivo General

Encontrar los radioenlaces y coberturas de las BTS´s

III. Objetivos Específicos

1. Recopilar información de los parámetros del sistema de comunicaciones a emplearse.

2. Configurar las unidades, los sistemas y las redes del sistema de comunicaciones.

3. Hacer uso de Google Earth para determinar la ubicación de las radiobases y MSC

4. Realizar las coberturas mediante RadioMobile.

IV. Radio Mobile

RadioMobile es un software gratuito, que permite llevar a cabo diferentes tipos de simulaciones, definiendo para ello las características de las unidades que constituyen los enlaces y haciendo uso de mapas de elevación.

A. Sistema geo referenciados En el anexo 1, podemos observar el diagrama del sistema de comunicaciones, en donde podremos observar las coordenadas de las radiobases y la central. Se consultó la MSC de Telefónica cuya posición se encuentra en carretas.

B. Parámetros

En todo el sistema, existen 5 BTS´s, de las cuales 4 BTS´s son del modelo BS241 y una BTS es del modelo BS240XL. Cabe señalar también que en cada zona, éstas tienen diferentes tipos de antenas a diferentes alturas, mismas que se deben considerar al momento de analizar el área de cobertura.

C. Redes definidas y sus componentes Para determinar las redes se consideró las unidades que forman parte de la misma red inalámbrica (todas a la misma frecuencia), para las unidades podemos observar que las subdividimos, debido a que en cada radio base se utilizan antenas sectoriales con diferente ganancia, altura y dirección, siendo este un factor importante de considerar al momento de analizar las coberturas de radio del sistema. En a los sistemas, se toma en cuenta la MSC (carretas), y dos modelos de BTS´s.

Para solucionar el problema del obstáculo del enlac e, se procedió a colocar un repetidor en las

antenas del Pichincha debido a que es el lugar más alto, y porque ya se encuentran antenas en el lugar.

H. Especificaciones de los equipos Las podemos observar en el Anexo 2.

I. Conclusiones La aplicación Radio Mobile nos permite a los profesionales entender de una mejor manera la configuración de sistemas de Telecomunicaciones. A pesar de no apegarse al cien por ciento de todos los parámetros de un enlace, es posible con el software tener la seguridad de que si no hay enlace no podemos arriesgarnos a instalar los equipos en el lugar.

BS-240 / BS-241Base Transceiver Stations

BS-240/241 is the new future-proof

evolution of Siemens’ BTS hard-

ware. Highlights are 24 TRX in

3 racks with 8 TRX each, signifi-

cantly reduced volume per TRX,

and a future-oriented platform for

new GSM features. Siemens’ latest

for UMTS.
