COCA COLA COMPANYQUESTIONS AND ANSWERSQ 1: Do you think this organization is quality conscious towards employees?Coke Company does high level of training to the employees. Coke company implement 4 ISO in which quality management system, food safety, health safety, environment include .and Company give training to the employees for better work. The trainings occur daily basis like ambassador training in which they tells us why is coke necessary for drink. because some people say that coke company use acid in coke products and coke have much amount of caffeine so we tell that people the coke have caffeine much lower than tea and coffee .and some people say that coke company use alcohol in their product but coke company dont use alcohol in their products .and provide daily basis training on safety to the employees for 10 minute.. The time of the meeting is morning 6:50 to 7:00 and evening 2:50 to 3:00 o clock .and give training on quality weekly basis. Company first train the employees then the company take work from the employee. When the quality parameter shows 100% then the company gives incentives to employees monthly base. it is a package includes RS6000 and this varies from employee to employee .in daily basis the company give lunch from yasir broast and also give vouchers of 3000.4000.maximum 5000 to the employees when they achieved the target of product efficiently. ALL THE employees and management work for better quality.Q2: Does organization have ISO certification?Yes They have four ISO certificates that includes (ISO 9001 ,ISO 18001 ,ISO 22000 ,ISO 14001). ISO 19001 (quality management system ). ISO 18001 (operational health and safety standard) it is non-ISO. ISO 22000 (food safety and ohsas). ISO 14001 (environmental). ISO 22000 works on food management and safety management. As there is too much loading so we have to take care of safety. Food safety, it is about maintaining the quality of the food avoiding unhealthy material there are check points as well as control points where we check and control the process of product. Control points are ccp and oprp ,we are implementing the food safety on this base . We use to insure that anything hassart is not going into the product. Where we see that leakages in water and gases. Whether the gases leaked in huge amount or not? And the external people come to check that whether the gases leaked much greater or not? And all these mentioned in documents in which mentioned what level of gases can b leaked. Q3: Does this organization provide quality assurance system and operations?Coke company have SOP for every type of operation, every type of process. how to do work? What are specification and standards? E.g coke have the standards of brist , gas ,net content and the employees do work according to the standards and verify the quality assurance . in which company verify the product which made in company is completely made according to the standard or not ?? which products go out side the company for sale that products made according the standard, specification or not? And those products which are not made by the standards and specification that products send to the another room . that room contain crushing machine. When managers verify the non-performing product than he order for crush that bottles. coke company never send non-performing products in to the market. And manager must make the form of non-performing products and signed it. They cannot compromise with quality of product.

Q4: Does organization have quality circle?Yes the coke has quality circles in different departments .In Coke Company, the helper who move the raw material from one place to another and sent to the operator. Operator control the line of production and also control the machines and they work on packing line, pallet line etc. they do not much focus on quality. And the next person is quality officer that person ensures the quality of product and cross verify the product. Quality officer insures that the bottle have label or code or not? Packing is correct or not? Etc. then the next person is executive that person check examine the quality officers which they maintain the line GNP or not? And the next person is quality manager who examines the executive manager. Every employee or manager does work honestly in the organization.And circle in deferent departments are.Where house quality circle:Lift operator where house officers supervisors executive managerProduction circle:Operator qualified operator foreman line engineer production leader production manager operational managerHR circle:HR laborer HR executive HR managerQ5: How many people are involved in quality circle?78 to 79 people involve in quality circleQ6: How frequently does organization hold meeting of quality circle?Yes. Organization does daily basis meeting on executive and managerial level. In which discuss daily base issues like product hold situation occur in plant than ask from the line engineer why this situation occur and then ask from executive about this problem. Each line has own line manager and executive manager. They justify the fault of this problem either this faulty by operator or not?? Fault by machine or not and justify the other issues like how we improve the quality of product. In which involved GNP control method or basic control methods apply on line to resolve this problem.

Q7: The agenda of this meeting of assigning authority?The agenda of meeting include: online issues ( plant issues like boiler issue , waste water issue and if the PH of water is increased frome the 6.5 then issue crate and executive level meetings hold to find the reason why the PH of water increase) and their every person of meetings give advices to resolve the problem. In preventing measures they control the PH of water by adding the sulphuric acid in water to control the PH of water . and it procedure become the SOP of organization . Every operation documented.Q8: Does organization go for quality audit?Yes. In Coke Company overall QMS audit is occur. in which auditors audit incoming material, dispatch material, if one bottle made the auditor examine that bottle and look what ingredients are use in bottle, which company machinery use to make this bottle , check the labels , where the bottles send , how many bottles sale , how many bottles are present in whare house each and every thing examined by auditor . the auditor comes from LGS company (ENGLAND) and comes from turkey Q1 audit or Q2 audit. The toughest audit by turkey audit. They verify whether the company follow the ISO system or not and verify the each and every thing in the company and outside the company.Q9: Does this organization have quality management system?YesQ10: Is this information system regularly updated?Almost. When the any procedure change, improvement information, new plant information, standerd of organization change occur then information system updated and this system aware the employees about these changes. And these information changes done by turkey owners and every information documented and each document have different code and this work is done on executive level.Q11: Does organization use benchmarking?Yes benchmarking is used in pet bottles because the demand of these bottles is very high throughout the year. 3 lines use for those bottles. Two lines are slow but one is very fast.Q12: Does organization go for brainstorming process?Yes. In organization daily brainstorming is done to improve quality to increase yield and reduce to reduce the waste. If there is mess wastage than automatically yield will be less. In organization wastages of product in many ways like damages. Damages occur pallet is not placed properly in where house.Q13: whether this organization implements 5s philosophy?Yes. Coca cola company use 6s philosophy. in which 5s implemented when problem arises setting of tools ,warehouse management ,instrument setting problems. For the use of 5s material is separated in each line and 6s is safety in this. And in which these are 12 rules these are for example work permit, dont use mobile during work, and these should be companion to go to companied area. As surety to do work, wear safety shoes, dont work after taking drugs, and should wear jackets, and cap the organization have their own dispensary and doctor and safety executive maintain all this. And executive and quality manager is verifying the 5,s philosophy. Q14: Do they have practice for six sigma?6 sigma is a tool which is used for maximum production. In coke company is CP value touching 2. Than it means 6 sigma is used for that reason wastage is very small and gas out is a rare problem because of which these is wastage.Q15: Any other certification they have?Except ISO certification they dont use any other certificate. Q16: career planning of organization.Every quality officer is promoted to executive manager level after three years and executive manager promoted to the managerial level after three years and every managerial promoted to the operational level after three years and every operational manager promoted to director after t three years and every director promoted to the general manager after three years . All these rotation of ranks must occur in three years. If there is no capability to promote to next level than that person transferred to another plant and product manager has much more chances to become operational manager and for the post of operational manager six persons of different plants are interviewed Q17: whether there employees are kept updated with changes in job skills and job design?All the information in the company is uploaded on the portals or email of employees for example change in price of product. It is done by Turkish owners of company and everything is documented and uploaded on portals. If there is any new job in organization its information is uploaded on portals.Q 18: Formal or informal method followed for feed back?The coke company used formal method of feedback. In company the feedback of all working is transferred operational manager .operational manager does meeting with product manager and executive managers in conference room. Only the operational manager can bring any change in product and it specification.Q19: Do you feel that organization place good for work and it provide right environment to apply for knowledge?Coke Company provides safety to all employees. Everything in SOP and all employees know their job specification. And in case any employees feel danger in any work he can share this with his boss that he cant do this work and his boss cant force him to do this work.Q20: Comfort level and conformance of employees with the rule or policies of organization?All employees know the rules and regulations of the company all these are documented and all employees are aware of this and these are also uploaded on their portals. If employees have any problem during his work he can freely share with his quality officer, manager, and executive manager. This reduces the space between employees, supervisors and executives.Q 21: Relations with pears, supervisors and staff?Employees have very good relationship with supervisors, quality managers, executives and they all celebrate achievements and participate.
