Bedtime Story Inside!
WELCOME TO BATTERSEA ARTS CENTRETown Hall Cherubs takes inspiration from the architecture of our beautiful old Town Hall building, from the mosaic floors to the marble staircase and
the hidden cherubs in our foyer’s ceiling. The show has been developed over the last year through Scratch performances and workshops with
audiences, artists, academics and heritage experts.
Town Hall Cherubs is part of our Mini Heritage Festival - a month for families to explore the history of our cherished old Town Hall building. Turn to the back of this programme to see all that there is to discover.

A special story for you
to read at bedtime
Up in the heavens, nestled so high Our friend the cherub let out a sigh
He wanted to journey down to the ground And explore the treasures all hidden around.
The Sleepy Cherub
love Cherub x

He reached for an apple, sweet round and gold A fantastic adventure began to unfold Worlds of light and worlds of sound
Each garland he saw marked new joys to be found.
6
His bravery brought him treasures untold:Bees and dragons and apples of gold.
But the greatest treasure he found was his friends To hold in his heart at the journey’s end.
