Description TOVUS DN 15-50
ApplicationThe pressure independent control valve TOVUS is used in secondary cooling and heating systems. Suitable applications include air heaters , chilled beams, FCU’s and control valve in one -pipe systems . TOVUS can be controlled with electrical actuators, and in some applications with thermostatic heads
DescriptionThe control valve TOVUS holds three functions ; presetting , differential pressure control and fl ow management . The functions are combined allowing TOVUS independently of available pressure limits the set fl ow rate . Along with a modulating actuator TOVUS ensures controllability over the entire stroke. TOVUS is equipped with test points for checking the fl ow and the ability to optimize the pump. TOVUS compact design and unique construction provides a space-saving valve that requires low differential pressure for full modulating control . TOVUS is equipped with blue protective cap for and protection of spindle and presetting

Description TOVUS DN 15-50
SizingSizing of TOVUS is based on the design fl ow . For full function the available pressure needs to be ensured.
Example: The design fl ow is 800 l / h to a FCU.
When the flow of 800 l/h is the differential pressure across the valve TOVUS ~ 15,7 kPa and the presetting 3

SettingThe pressure independent control valve TOVUS is set via the top of the valve. The setting is made after the specifi ed scale .
MeasurementThe lids removed the valves test points . Then the differential pressure can be measured via the valve testpoints
MountingTOVUS has fl ow direction marked on the valve body . Note also that the valve is turned the right for the selected actuator and IP class.
