FOR TOURNAMENT PARTICIPANTS:

Balls will be white Xiom 3-star seamless plastic 40

+ balls. 14 tables will be used, Xiom and Killerspin.

Flooring will be wood. Clothing must be mainly

non-white. All USATT regulations apply.

PRIZES:

In Division 1, there will be $700/team for 1st and

$300/team for 2nd. There will be trophies for 1st-4th

place for all team members in all other divisions.

TEAMS:

Each team must consist of 2-3 players. All players

on each team must be between 900 rating points

of each other on August 2, 2019 or any point after

until entry. The league or tournament rating can be

used to determine eligibility.

RATINGS/UNRATED PLAYERS:

Unrated players should use their league or club

ratings on August 2, 2019. If any unrated players do

not have league ratings, an estimate rating from a

USATT certified coach can be used to determine

team eligibility. For seedings, the most recent rating

list will be used. Matches will count for USATT

tournament rating.

FORMAT:

Each team match will consist of 5 matches, 2

singles, then 1 doubles, and then 2 more singles.

Each singles and doubles match will be best 3 out

of 5 to 11 points. Here is the format for each team

match where each letter corresponds to a

potential player:

The players playing each singles and doubles

match must be written by both teams before the

team match starts. All 5 matches in the round robin

groups will be played regardless of the outcomes.

Any team that defaults matches without medical

reason, injury, or other pre-approved reason from

the tournament director will not be eligible for prize

money or trophies. Depending on the number of

entries and the ratings of players, there will likely be

5-6 teams in each division. All teams in the same

division will play each other in a giant round robin.

Teams will be seeded into divisions based on the

average rating of the two highest rated players on

the team. Teams may be required to play

crossovers as their first match against teams from

the next higher or lower division which may move

them up or down a division for the rest of the

tournament.

TEAM NAMES:

Team names must be 35 characters or less. The

tournament director reserves the right to request a

new team name or change the team name if

inappropriate.

CHECK-IN:

All team captains must check in to the tournament

hall Sunday, November 17 morning between 8-8:45

AM where all teams will get their time schedule of

matches. Most and likely all teams will begin play

on Sunday at 9 am.

PRACTICE:

The hall will be open for practice on Sunday,

November 17 at 8 AM.

ENTRIES, DEADLINES, AND FEES:

$200/team. Entries must be postmarked by

November 8, 2019 with check payable to Fremont

Table Tennis Academy and mailed to Fremont

Table Tennis Academy, 47998 Warm Springs Blvd,

Fremont, CA 94539 or paid online at

omnipong.com by November 10, 2019. There is also

a $10/player registration fee and $30 off team

discount if registered by August 31, 2019.

LATE ENTRIES:

Late entries may be accepted with a $20 late fee

after November 10, 2019, space permitting. All late

entries must be received with payment by

Wednesday, November 13, 2019.

REFUNDS:

There are no refunds after November 8, 2019.

SPECTATORS:

There is free entry for spectators, coaches, friends,

and family.
