Edakkal Cave in Wayand

beauty. It is a cranny of about 96 ft and 22 ft in length and width respectively. A crevice was formed

due to a rock sliding because of natural weather conditions. The profundity of the cranny is almost 30

ft.

Banasura Sagar Dam, Wayand

This is around 25km in the direction of the north-west of Kalpetta. It is the biggest earth dam in the

country and is ranked second in Asia. The dam lengthens to a spacious part with crystal clear flow of

waters.

Kuruva Island near Wayand

The place is to be found on the offshoot of Kabani River and serves tourists as a marvelous spot for
