Touch Lite
Touch Lite = new electronic control, with touch-control user interface, for independent vitroceramic hobsMarket positioning below HICsupplier E.G.O.
April 2004 ESSE-N /A.S. 3
Construction
Touch Lite has 3 main components:Plastic housing, sealed by gaskets against vtroceramic plate at the top, and against the hob tray at the bottomPower board in lower part of this housingTouch-control user Interface on top

Power board(shown upside down)
Transformer power supply5 relays (10 Amps each) to control the individual heating elements2 APD* relays (16 Amps each) for safety all-pole disconnectOverheat protection NTC on power board: can cut off heating elements (Alarm Er21)It is also possible that power is reduced temporarily without showing this to the user !
*APD = All-Pole Disconnect

Touch-Control User Interface
6 or 7 capacitive touch sensors (as known from Touch 2 or induction G3 *)3 or 4 LED 7-segment displays On some models 1 or 2 LEDs for 2- or 3-zone heaters
* as on G3, observe that touch pads are not bent or deformed; the circulat surface on top must have full contact with the vitro-ceramic plate, under the marked area !
