Camera Systems

Integration with high-resolution camera systems

Camera systems are electronic magnifying systems with a flexible swivel-/tilt camera. They capture text and pictures in close up/distance viewing mode and reproduce these in a magnified way on a monitor and/or PC or laptop. Camera systems are designed for being used in schools, in educational environments or at work.

In distance mode the camera captures e.g. the blackboard and reproduces this picture on the screen of a monitor. In reading mode, close-up text and pictures will be captured and displayed on a monitor and/or PC or laptop. Both sharp, contrast enhanced and in the desired magnification. Camera systems can be combined with a monitor, an additional PC or with a notebook or tablet PC for the use on the go.

Camera systems offer many other useful and comfortable features, such as a line marker which helps you to orientate yourself on the screen. In combination with a TTS software (text to speech), the camera system can be upgraded to a reading system.

Topolino tablet is a compact multimedia camera system that supports pupils, students and professionals to easily fulfill their tasks. It’s a 12" Windows tablet with a pre-installed magnifying- and text recognition software, that comes with a foldable stand on which a swivel-tilt distance camera can be mounted. Writing, reading text, viewing pictures, looking at objects, distance viewing, etc. can be done effortless and with fun. The split-screen function offers display of two different images on the screen, e.g. distance camera and internal camera. Magnification level and details to be displayed can be adjusted by swiping on the touch screen. Due to the integrated text recogni-tion with read-aloud-function you can take a picture of a text and double click on the desired part of the text that you want to be read aloud.

A 30-day trial software of SuperNova* is already installed. In combination with an optionally available keyboard, mouse and Office application topolino tablet can be used as laptop.* After 30 days a license for using the full version needs to be purchased at extra costs. A reduced version with limited functions can be used without purchasing the full version of SuperNova.

topolino smart 2K is being installed within seconds. All individual adjustments made are being saved when switching from distance viewing mode to reading mode and will be recalled. The dimming light is helpful when reading at different locations with different light conditions to eliminate fatigue of your eyes.

In combination with a notebook or tablet, images can be saved and videos recorded.

Texts and pictures even larger than DIN A3 are being displayed contrast enhanced and razor sharp. These characteristics are unique and thus ideal for professional use.

The integrated HDMI- and USB 3.0 interfaces make sure that topolino capo 2K can be connected to a 2K monitor, or a PC or notebook.

The optionally available battery and XY table upgrade comfortability of topolino capo 2K. For transport, fold up the unit easily and space savingly.

The camera system topolino flex 2K offers more working space on your desk.

The high resolution camera (2.5x higher than HD) is going to be fixed on a three hinge swivel arm at your desk. Even over sized documents can be read comfortably, since the camera can be moved over this large text. All individual adjustments in terms of colors, magnification, etc. are being saved automatically when switched from reading mode to distance viewing mode.

Your external 2K monitor can be connected via HDMI interface with topolino flex 2K. Your PC or laptop can be connected via USB 3.0. Functions for your comfort, like line ruler or line masking can be activated via topolino remote control and the Viewer Software SuperNova for Window.
