Turkey's position of being an energy corridor for transporting energy resources from the Middle East and Khazar regions to Europe is critical to the emergence of new opportunities
Turkey is in a strategic location between a number of major energy consumers and suppliers, and so serves as a regional energy hub.
According to a new report, Turkey is expected to invest US$25.2bn over the next 10 years in smart grid infrastructure. Turkey is reported to be the largest markets, with other countries committing to significant smart grid investment up until 2025.
