NEW!! Strategic Communications Manager: Building Healthy Communities Initiative (BHC) is currently seeking a Strategic Communications Manager.
Position entails: Strategic Communications Manager will be responsible for leading the development of strategic communications projects and campaigns to
elevate the profile of the community initiatives and to tell the stories of change within Del Norte and Tribal Lands (DNATL). This role will utilize a combination
of digital media and storytelling strategies to spread Wild Rivers Community Foundation’s mission of generosity, inclusion and leadership and build on their
existing reputation as a trusted partner, convener and leader with local non-profits and community groups. In addition, this role will provide capacity building and
technical assistance to grantees and community partners within the project teams. With four years left in this 10-year initiative, this position will focus on
developing written, photographic, video and infographic material that serves to bring people together and create a shared understanding of people’s experiences.
Content must demonstrate the impact of what is taking place in DNTAL for both funders and local residents to understand. This position will work in collaboration
with Redwood Voice, the local youth media network housed at WRFC and the BHC Outreach Coordinator. The Strategic Communications Manager reports
directly to the BHC Initiative Director. The ideal candidate believes that DNATL can be a healthy community for all its residents and is eager to work
collaboratively with others, in particular youth, to achieve this vision. Seeking applicants who are professional, extremely organized, self-starters who thrive in a
fast-paced environment and enjoy working with policy makers and community members. Schedule may include some weekends, evenings and out of town travel.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Public/Community Health or experience in a related field; minimum two
years relevant leadership experience as a Communications or Media Specialist or similar position providing public relations, campaign supports and media services

Lab Assistant: Del Norte Open Door is currently seeking a qualified Lab Assistant. Position entails: The Lab Assistant helps assure that all the daily lab duties run
