Major hazards associated with electricity are electrical shock, fire, flash arc and electrocution. This seminar will therefore help companies to manage their Lost Time Injury (LTI) while maximizing their productivity and profitability. Attendance at this seminar will earn each participant 4 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points. GhIE Professional Competency Requirements stipulate that Engineering Practitioners shall complete a minimum of 18 CPD units per annum as a prerequisite for the renewal of their professional engineering license. This is to ensure that Engineering Practitioners in the country are abreast with current trends in their fields of endeavor. Ing. Ben Richard Aniagyei is the Managing Director and Principal Consultant of B.R.A. & Associates Ltd. He graduated with a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from KNUST, in 1974. He worked with Unilever Ghana and other associated Companies outside Ghana for over 30 years during which period he held several positions including Chief Engineer (Tema Factory), Technical/HSE Manager (Unilever Plantations), Production Manager (Pamol Plantations, Malaysia), Group Safety, Health and Environment (HSE) Manager and finally as Lead ISO Auditor for Unilever Africa Regional Group (ARG). Ing. Aniagyei has since 2006 been a Consultant in Industrial Engineering, HSE and Quality Management Systems (ISO Standards) for International Labour Organisation (ILO} and leading Ghanaian Industries including Construction Sector HSE Audits. Ing. Aniagyei is Past President and Fellow of Ghana Institution of Engineering (FGhIE), Fellow of International Institute of Risk & Safety Management, (FIIRSM-UK), a Fellow of Institute of Directors, Ghana (FIoD-Gh) and a strong advocate for ensuring compliance to Engineering, Safe Systems of Work, Quality and Ethical standards. He is a Member of Ghana Consulting Engineers Association (GCEA) and a member of Ghana Standards Authority (GSA) National Technical Committee (TC22) of for Oil & Gas Industry.
