but they shall not prevail against you; For I am with you to save you and deliver you,” says

the LORD.

JEREMIAH 30:11 (NKJV)

For I am with you,’ says the LORD, ‘to save you; Though I make a full end of all nations where

I have scattered you, yet I will not make a complete end of you.

But I will correct you in justice, and will not let you go altogether unpunished.’

JEREMIAH 42:11 (NKJV) ‘Do not be afraid of the king of Babylon, of whom you are afraid; do not be afraid of him,’

says the LORD, ‘for I am with you, to save you and deliver you from his hand.’

2. GOD HAS EQUIPPED US.

II TIMOTHY 1:7 (NKJV)

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

II CORINTHIANS 4:7-11 (MSG)

If you only look at us, you might well miss the brightness. We carry this precious Message around in

the unadorned clay pots of our ordinary lives. That’s to prevent anyone from confusing God’s

incomparable power with us. As it is, there’s not much chance of that. You know for yourselves that

we’re not much to look at. We’ve been surrounded and battered by troubles, but we’re not

demoralized; we’re not sure what to do, but we know that God knows what to do; we’ve been

spiritually terrorized, but God hasn’t left our side; we’ve been thrown down, but we haven’t broken.

What they did to Jesus, they do to us—trial and torture, mockery and murder; what Jesus did among

them, he does in us—he lives! Our lives are at constant risk for Jesus’ sake, which makes Jesus’ life

all the more evident in us. While we’re going through the worst, you’re getting in on the best!

II CORINTHIANS 4:7-11 (NKJV) But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and

not of us. 8 We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in

despair; 9 persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed— 10 always carrying about

in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our

body. 11 For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus’ sake, that the life of Jesus also may

be manifested in our mortal flesh.

HEBREWS 1:3 (NKJV)

...who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things

by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of

the Majesty on high...

COLOSSIANS 1:27 (NKJV)

To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the

Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

3. GOD HAS COMMANDED US.

JOSHUA 1:9 (NKJV)

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for

the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”

JAMES 1:17 (NKJV)

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with

whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.

JOHN 15:5 (NKJV)

I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without

Me you can do nothing.

4. GOD HAS OVERCOME FOR US.

JOHN 16:33 (NKJV) “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have

tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

PHILIPPIANS 4:13 (NKJV) I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

MATTHEW 9:6 (NKJV)

“But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins”—then He said to

the paralytic, “Arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.”

MATTHEW 28:18 (NKJV) And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on

earth.”

LUKE 8:25 (NKJV)

But He said to them, “Where is your faith?” And they were afraid, and marveled, saying to one

another, “Who can this be? For He commands even the winds and water, and they obey Him!”

5. GOD WILL NOT LEAVE US.

I CHRONICLES 28:20 (NKJV)

And David said to his son Solomon, “Be strong and of good courage, and do it; do not fear nor be

dismayed, for the LORD God—my God—will be with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you, until

you have finished all the work for the service of the house of the LORD.

HEBREWS 13:5-6 (NKJV)

Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself

has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” 6 So we may boldly say: “The LORD is my helper; I

will not fear. What can man do to me?”

6. GOD IS FAITHFUL TO US.

I CORINTHIANS 10:13 (NKJV)

No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not

allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way

of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

7. GOD IS ALWAYS A MAJORITY.

II CHRONICLES 32:7-8 (NKJV)

“Be strong and courageous; do not be afraid nor dismayed before the king of Assyria, nor before all

the multitude that is with him; for there are more with us than with him. 8 With him is an arm of

flesh; but with us is the LORD our God, to help us and to fight our battles.” And the people were

strengthened by the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.

8. GET OUT OF YOUR BOAT.

MATTHEW 14:29 (NKJV)

So He said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go

to Jesus.
