The 2016 show saw the largest educational programme to date, with more than 80 free to attend CPD certified workshops for professionals from across the industry. The workshops for 2016 were divided into the following key themes: Architecture & MEP Services, Business & Marketing Strategies, Sustainability is the future, Safety & Logistics, Project Management and Technology in Construction.

The Gaia Awards look to recognise sustainable products in the MENA region, with this year’s shortlisted products being showcased live on the show floor. The winner was voted for by visitors and a panel of industry experts, with the overall GAIA Awards 2016 winner: Sageglass by Sageglass a subsidiary of St. Gobain. The winner of the GAIA awards 2016 visitors vote was Assa Abloy with their low energy lock.
