The C Class vessels are fitted with a 400-tonne line pull Brattvagg winch with triple drums, perfect for mooring semisubs or FPSOs in over 1,000 metres of water, and the secondary winches have a total of 5 km of 160 mm or 3 km of203 mm wire storage capacity. The vessel’s tanks are configured to handle more than 1,300 m3 of recovered oil, inthe event she is called upon to respond to a spill. Certified by DNV GL as having “Clean Design”, this tonnage haslower emissions to atmosphere from all the machinery including the refrigerant gases. Rolls-Royce travelling deckcranes and wire winder spools are also provided for safe deck anchor handling. This Class also holds Standby andOILREC notations.
