Top Bathroom Colors for Men

Decorating or at least painting your bathroom is a great way to create a soothing and serene space. But, decorating a bathroom, tends to mean different things for opposite sexes. Benjamin Moore paint called Night Train #1567

This is a very cool color because it’s

not just green or grey or even black, its

various colors mixed into each other that creates a very calming, almost light forest green color. This

is going to be a good color for guys that have windows in

the bathroom that look out on to a wooded

forest, or for people that have

any type of a suburban home with flora. This green also goes really well with wood because

it mimics the trees outside. Consider adding it a wooden vanity with black granite countertop,

copper slate flooring tile - it has both slate gray and a coppery brown tone, and can also be used to tile the outside and edges of your tub or shower. Very masculine!

Metropolis cc-5546 Benjamin Moore Paint

This is a very soothing grey color, almost like the same tone as concrete. This is going to be a better option for men that have split paneling walls - where the top part is the painted section and the bottom is the wood panels or for men that have something even as simple as a chair rail. The top most part of the wall is going to be painted the Metropolis cc-5546 Benjamin Moore Paint color, and the bottom part is going to be painted off white. Of course you can also create a tile bottom if you want as well, just make sure its colors different than the paint, try creamy whites, ivories and tans. Add in a vanity and countertop such as custom granite counter in Giallo Ornamental.

Miller CW023W Lis Crème, semi-gloss

I love love this bathroom, even as a female. It has a very modern meets traditional feel to it, which is funny, because I actually prefer modern over traditional. The Miller CW023W Lis Crème, semi-gloss color is a creamy color, with yellow or peach undertones. It should be paired with stark white tile, and a white tub or shower. Add in a custom vanity and a sink such as Ovalyn by American Standard to tie it all in. The countertop should be complimenting towards the creamy color on the walls, so look for countertops with creamy colors in them, even tans, browns, black, etc. The custom vanity should also be a darker color, say brown, I really like the way American chestnut looks in a bathroom with these colors, so if you are going to use a custom wood vanity, try to make sure any other wood, such as wood around the tub is the same or about the same stain.

I know it’s sort of a man’s role to do all and be all, but if your like my dad, he tends to do all and be ALL for everyone including himself. Give yourself a break man. It’s okay to kick back, have a beer, and let someone else paint the room for you. Consider looking for a residential painter that will paint the bathroom for you, while you worry about the more important things in life.
